Effective 3M Sealant for Hidden Automotive Areas
This 3M sealant closely resembles factory sealants, making it ideal for discreet automotive applications. Its strong adhesive properties require careful handling during application, but the process is straightforward: apply, smooth, and done. It is crucial to note that this sealant is best suited for non-visible areas, as it may appear messy on exposed surfaces like painted panels. In my experience, I used it to seal a hidden seam in a truck cab, ensuring a neat finish. While it also worked well externally between the cab and truck bed, visibility was not a concern. One drawback was the incomplete packaging from Amazon, as only one tube came with a nozzle. This oversight led to an inconvenience of returning one tube for a replacement that included a nozzle. It would be beneficial if instructions were provided for including at least one nozzle with orders of multiple tubes.

Life Extender for Convertible Soft Top
About 6 yrs, the rear window in my 2016 Audi soft top had the bottom seal fail and open about 1/8 inch. I did not notice it. We had 3 weeks of frequent storms, it was parked outside, and water leaked. Repairs cost ~$9500. I have paid more attention to the new software top. About 3 years ago, the bottom seal started to fail. I bought this 3M sealant and it continues to hold up well. Recently I noticed the top seal beginning to fail. I used the same sealant to repair it. I apply blue tape on the window. Immediately after application, I pull the tape off to get nice sealant "lines". I spread an initial bead with a caulk gun, then wear gloves to smooth it to a nice application. Then I use special squeeze devices to put pressure on it.The sealant is easy to use. Good stuff. And the price is reasonable.

Great for filling gaps/seams!
This product fills seams and gaps very well and doesn't run out after. Using this on a car I am restoring and applying this prior to undercoating.

Easy application and dries up nicely
After my Toyota FJ roof got a re-spray. I had to install the roof rack back but before I had to prep the rain gutters to make sure it's clean and ready for the roof rack install. I used the 3M 08362 Gray seam sealer to blend with the color and protect the seams within the rain gutters and surrounds of the roof rack bracket so no water will come in (worst thing to have roof leaks and a wet headliner). I left it to cure for 24 hours before I started to take the painters tape around them. I added more sealer in some areas and cut some out to clean things up. I'm very happy with the results and very confident that it will do it's job.
