I don't usually buy the "green" powders. But I like Ghost and what they make, so I took a chance on this. I was pleasantly surprised. It has a bit of an earthy taste to it, but it's not terrible. The pink lemonade is subtle, but it adds a bit of tang to the mixture. When this container is gone, I'll definitely buy another.

If you've ever tried greens before and could never get them down, I highly recommend Ghost. They make the greens taste tolerable. I still will chug down my 8 oz but that's because I hate greens that much. Ghost made them bearable and I can actually get them down now.

Ghost greens are pure fire! They are so good. I have tried other greens supplements since I suck at getting enough fruits and veggies in my diet, plus I like the energy and digestive support and boost. I have tried other brands and they all taste like dirty grass juice with fruit flavor. I tried this one, pink lemonade flavor, and it’s the best. I tried other flavors such as apple cider, açaí bowl, you can only get that flavor through their app, site or on shop, guava berry, and still pink lemonade is the best one. I don’t know about grittiness but maybe I’ve been taking them so long it doesn’t bother me. I grab my shaker bottle and throw it in there and drink before my workout in the morning. Another thing I love about Ghost supps too is there scoop. The scoop being secured at the top of the container is great so you don’t have to dig for it. Will be a repeat customer for life. 10/10

Old school apple greens by ghost. I've been in the ghost train lately, so I figured I'd give my usual Costco bought zena (mixed berry) greens a rest and give this stuff a rip. First off we're going to go by the smell. It smells like an old school Apple...... if you let it ferment in your colon for a couple weeks. Not going to sugar coat it the scent is a little rough. It gives sewage-y vibes but honestly I think all green drinks kind of give that scent a little bit. Like you know when you cook broccoli at home and your whole house smells like farts? I honestly think the scent is just a Tell-Tale sign of the quality. Luckily ghost did not say that this is Old School Apple scented they said it was Old School Apple flavored. And you do get that hit old school, store brand from concentrate apple juice taste. However it is incredibly hard to mask the standard greens taste and you will get some of that on the back end. I have a tendency to want to chug my greens because the taste isn't usually the best on its own but with this it's fairly tolerable. Now the texture no matter how you mix it, in a blender bottle or with a frother/mixer it's going to be gritty, again as with all greens powders. I will say that it is slightly more gritty than the zena stuff. I'm giving it a 3 outta 5 stars, or a c. Will I be buying it again? possibly?

After my horrible experience with Revive Daily Greens and their egregiously sweet greens powder, I was trying to make sure to buy one that didn’t have a butt load of stevia in it (that the pictures and descriptions didn’t even tell you about). I was deciding between this and the PEScience greens powder. The latter was cheaper but I decided on Ghost since they’re 100% transparent on the ingredient amounts. First off, Ghost’s packaging always looks really cool to me so it’s off to a good start! It’s also a container vs. a bag, so it’s easier to scoop powder out without getting your hands unnecessarily dirty. I appreciate their scoop design and letting it fit under the top of the container! That way, you don’t have to fish it out of the powder if it gets tossed around and buried. You can see that they put a lot of thought into it. Moving on to the taste. There’s not a heavy taste of greens to it! I tried a little in water, in orange juice, and in a smoothie (which is my daily go-to). At the end of the day, you’ll obviously still taste something if you only drink it with water but it’s tolerable. I usually throw it in a smoothie because I’m also letting myself properly take in some fruits and veggies. The other thing I like about this greens powder is that it has no weird texture going on. It mixes down really well and smooth. Often times, I find powders that still give you a chalky mouth-feel or gritty texture no matter how much it’s mixed. Overall, I recommend this! However, if it’s a little pricy for you then check out PEScience greens powder, it’s $29.99 on Amazon. If you don’t care about pricing then Ensō Super Greens powder is supposed to be good too. However, a one time purchase on their website is $59.99. If you subscribe then it’s $39.99.
