I purchased 8 of these covers for all of the thermostats in the doctor's office where I work. They were shipped quickly. They were well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. They took minutes to install. Some of our thermostats were installed in some very strange places so I was concerned that any cover that I purchased would not work with some that were close to corners or installed sideways, etc. These covers are designed so they fit over every thermostat with no problem regardless of the strange location of the thermostat itself. I love having the three digit code instead of a key. HIghly recommend.

This was the replacement of another lockbox I bought and returned. It was so simple to set the code and mount on the wall. The cover on this lockbox comes completely off, making it so much easier to install the base plate. The above returned lockbox claimed their lockbox wad less likely to be torn off the wall when locked due to the hinged door. Any of these plastic lockboxes can be tore off the wall by someone who wants to get into them. The big difference on this lockbox is the ease of setting the code and installation. This lockbox will deter the average person who likes to constantly turn up the heat or turn down the AC. Buy this lockbox and save yourself the time and frustration of setting the code and installing over your thermostat.

Works as needed but not great quality

Love the product. It was easy to install in our rental unit and the Seller was super responsive when we had a question about the product. It has a really nice clean look and easy to use and we love the combo code instead of a key which so many times can get lost. Just what we were looking for !! Thank you.

Easy install and comes with template for holes that’s helpful. Hinges are to small so when opening the lid it tries to fall off more times than not

in my house, we do not have a programmable thermostat capability. So I had to get creative to stop people from continuously changing the air conditioner to low settings and driving up the power bill to high settings. This device works beautifully. It has changed air conditioning in our house to set times at set temperatures the lock feature having a code works perfect for when my husband or I get home we can adjust the thermostat and no one else can access it. This is a must have for any house that needs to control your air thermostat.

I purchased this item in October to install for the upcoming summer months because my child will not stop turning down the a/c temperature to ridiculously low temperatures. I obviously didn’t need it during the winter months, so I waited until it began tongue hot enough to use the a/c again. I’ve just taken the cover out to install and changed the code as per the instructions. The new code does not work. I tried it several times, and now the cover won’t open. I went to the Amazon website for suppport, and the only support options are self-troubleshooting topics, none of which have anything to do with the code. All I want is customer support who can potentially help me resolve this problem, but there is none. I now have a useless piece of plastic I can’t get refunded because it was purchased in the fall for use in the summer.

Easy to install, easy to operate. I needed a locking cover over my thermostat to stop everyone in the house turning up the A/C to the point I was freezing. After some complaining, everyone now accepts that this is a great solution and eliminates the constant back and forth tussles.

Bit fiddly to fit but once cover in place stops someone from altering settings particularly useful to save money on gas because of unauthorised adjustment making rooms too hot
