I ordered this key fob on Tuesday and received it on Wednesday. Fast shipping for me living in the sticks. I opened the box and went to the truck to program it. Took less than 30 seconds and works perfectly. Not sure why a lot of people have problems with the programming. If I ever need another one I'll order it again.

My previous key fob was broken and buttons didn't work properly. I bought this one, opened it, and to my surprise there was already a battery. Easy to open and easy to close. I was prepared to put a battery in, but it came ready to use. Scanned the QR code included with my phone for the directions to program according to the vehicle and it worked. Have not had any issues.

I purchased this key fob for a 2009 Chevy Silverado. We bought the truck used. The previous owner stated that he had lost the key fob in the lake. So I wrongly assumed that he had an original manufacturer key fob that came with the truck when it was new. Our local Chevy dealership confirmed that because I have manual (non-power) locks, there was never an original keyless entry remote, but the previous owner had an aftermarket key fob. The DIC on the dash of my 2009 Chevrolet Silverado doesn’t have an option for the keyless remote at all. Everything is manual (windows, locks, seats, etc.). So I took off a star on my review because nowhere in the instructions does it state that it is not for manual locks, it says it will work for my make and model. Seems like it would have worked perfectly if my vehicle had power locks. I would order this product again for our other newer vehicles. I think the price is really good. And that the quality is high.

The QR code for pairing with the vehicle is a scam. It takes you to a gaming site.Absolutely do not order.

This product is fantastic. I was able to program it with no issues. I was able to program mine threw DIC (DRIVERS INFORMATION CENTER) but it also comes with instructions to program. Not to tmention the price compared to a factory remote is amazing.

Fobs I got, while working, are not as shown (with one having an indent and the other a dimple) - but rather they both extend well past the body and full stick out.If you need cheap, you may have found it here.But I am going to look into Boost Auto's key fob and get a true replacement.
