Best Castile Soap Ever/Arrived Leaking All Over
This is a fantastic natural castile soap with a strong, bright scent from the lavender and lavandin essential oils (guys, please stop complaining that it doesn't smell like real lavender- lavandin does not smell identical to lavender, so it creates a different, brighter scent). It cleanses thoroughly, and keeps skin moisturized. I added a couple drops of rose absolute to make a luxurious, foaming hand soap that I use on my face and dishes as well. This is definitely the best castile soap I've ever used, and I like it a lot better than Bronner's. The 100% natural ingredients are hard to beat, and it smells and feels excellent. The scent may not be for everyone, as it's somewhat strong in general. So if you're unsure, get the unscented one and start from there. When I first received the package, I opened it up to find the outside plastic bag completely soaked from soap. Even the white sticker tag on the bottle was visibly totally blank and practically disintegrated.. all the words had worn off.I opened the plastic wrap, and the bottle was completely drenched with soap all over the outside. I was confused... when I checked the seal, it seemed to be secure... yet tons of the soap was on the OUTSIDE of the bottle.Update: Amazon customer service gave me some compensation for all the leaking. When this soap is mixed with warn water and essential oils, it kind of bunches up into white pieces that float and sink to the bottom of the pump bottle. Once you shake it up it's okay, but it really settles fast, just to warn you. It doesn't impede its effectiveness.

Very nice stuff, strong lavender scent
I really like this. It has a pretty strong scent of lavender, for those that may be more sensitive, but I like it. I dilute it and use it in a foaming hand pump. Keep in mind that this won't lather like regular soap. It will have a little bit of lather only in the beginning of your wash. I have used different scents of Dr. Bronners castile soaps, so I can't comment on the differences of the smell. In comparison to the quality, it appears to be a little bit thicker in texture, but somehow not as concentrated. It is still very concentrated, however, and you will still use about the same ratio of your dilution recipe. I think that having a slightly thicker consistency makes it easier to handle, if you're pouring it into your hand straight from the bottle. I use it for hand soap in the foaming pump, and also use it for body wash. Since I have sensitive skin, I have been trying different shower gels for a while, other products (even with moisturizers added, un-scented, made for sensitive skin), leave me feeling very itchy and dry. But this Dr. Woods pure Castile soap has changed all that. I feel comfortable, clean and confident using this now. It works great for me and I plan to buy again!

Good Stuff!
Curiosity got the best of me, so I ordered this Castile Soap. I'm really happy that I made the purchase for the following reasons:1. It's versatile and safe. You can use it to clean your body, your hair, AND your house. I've only used it to clean my body, but I'm happy to know it won't cause any harm. When I get around to cleaning my floors I will give it a try.2. It smells lovely. The scent of lavender is relaxing, and I look forward to using it in the shower. When I run out it will be difficult to decide if I want to reorder this one or try the almond scent next.3. It will last a long time, and is reasonably priced. The bottle is pretty big, and you don't need to use much. It may cost more than bar soap, but I can't forsee this bottle running out any time soon, while I need a new bar of soap about every two months.4. It doesn't lather much, but it does clean the skin without irritation. I noticed once when I didn't wash it off completely it kind of dried on my skin leaving a flaky residue, but that usually isn't a problem. I'd like to see if this happens when I clean my floors.

Good shampoo with minimum ingredients
I have tried most of Dr. Woods' soaps and am pleased with all of the different scents. I use them to shampoo my hair every day. You only need a small amount and they lather easily. They will clean your hair thoroughly but are gentle enough to use every day. The 32 ounce bottle lasts a long time and the price is good! I also like that there are not many ingredients and you don't need a chemistry degree to understand the list.
