It appears to be very sturdy and should do well for it's intended purpose. The only thing that disappoints me is the size of the cable clamp supplied, it is huge. I would have been happier if it came with two different sizes and either no pre-drilled hole, or a smaller hole for the smaller fitting, and leave it to the end user to decide if they need to open the hole for the larger size. I use these types of cable clamps in various sizes for all sorts of cabling and coax, they work great if correct size is used. Although this is too big for what I needed it for it may come in handy for another project later on.Update: Just noticed that a smaller version is available. Ooops. In my rush to get one I didn't pay attention to that option. These are very well made.

Fit and finish of the product is good. For my installation (wiring for a Fiamma awning), I modified it by drilling 4 small holes in the corner to attach it to the roof of my van with SS sheet metal screws. I used butyl tape to seal it. I also drilled out the rubber grommet just a bit to fit my cable. I could have used an adhesive to attach it but felt the screws were a better choice. You can contact the seller to find out which adhesives are compatible with the plastic.

Works great. Used it on my RV roof to cover the hole drilled to bring my Starlink power cable onto the roof.

Perfect for what I needed

This item is well made and works perfectly to allow a cable access to a small RV via the roof. The cell phone booster antenna wire along with 1/4" cable loom fit well inside the adjustable cable entry providing a fully waterproof entry. Very happy with this purchase.
