I have purchased these lights before (from different sellers). The description on these states that batteries are included."Energy efficient & Safety product -- Creating energy efficient Waterproof Starry Décor Rope Lamp(3 LR44 Battery included per product) ."There are no batteries in any of the lights. I would have still purchased them without batteries however the product should match the entire description.

I'm only giving this a one star because that's the lowest I can give it... The product pictured and described is NOT what we received. I'm posting a picture of what we received. We also only received ONE, not 12 as mentioned in the description. One strand for $18?? That's ridiculous. I'm returning this immediately to receive my $18 back.

These are great and just what i needed to make my wedding centerpieces. So much easier than having to try and hide a battery pack! Thank you for a great product.My only recommendation to make these even better is if the switch could be on the bottom of the “cork” so as to hide it in the bottle. Also it would be nice if it were more of a rubber material or something that would stick more firmly in the bottle.

Best bang for your buck. Lights are bright and pretty. Battery pack fit snugly in the bottle tops and looks great. Using these for centerpieces at my daughter's wedding reception. Let's all hope the marriage outlives the battery life on these.

We just had a fundraiser dinner at an outside venue. The weather was perfect and the lights made our tables beautiful. We had three empty beer bottles held together by a wide burlap ribbon and then ties a sisal rope around it. The lights were wrapped around the bottles. They made our tables beautiful. Our event was Boots, Beer and Bar-b-que. Cute inexpensive deocrations.

This is the second set of these I have purchased. They are wonderful to make lighted bottles from used wine or whiskey bottles. I recommend using clear bottles to get a nice amount of light. These make wonderful gifts to give to people for when visiting or at dinner parties and people are always thrilled to get these. When entertaining outside I put 2-3 bottles out that have these and they give a great effect.

OMgosh! Transforms an plain wine bottle into a soft warm glow. Much nicer than candles. Safe to use. Not sure about battery life because I just purchased two sets for myself and friends. Easy on/off switch and three round batteries included. They work right out of the box. Perfect accent. A must have.

I use these in bottles for Halloween to light up the walk and steps for kids. These are longer so they really fill the bottle and make a nice "lantern". I've also put them into plants and used them in my lil free library so it can be seen in the eve now when it gets dark so early. So many uses, always have some Handy!
