Change your own oil? You want this.
Several years, and several oil changes later, it still works great. Not a drop of oil has leaked. Oil changes are an absolute breeze now.My Mazda B2300 takes 4 quarts of oil and sits high enough that I don't even need to jack it up to get under. And so, I simply place the drain tube into the mouth of an empty 1 gallon plastic milk jug, screw it onto the valve, and let er rip. No leaks or mess whatsoever and at that point, I can simply walk away and let it do its thing. I don't even need a drain pan for this step.Once the oil pan is empty, unscrew the drain tube, screw the dust cap back on, and you're done! (With that part, obviously don't forget to change the filter and put oil back in!)Not sure if it was intentional, but the screw on part of the drain tube is slightly bigger than the mouth of a gallon milk jug. It will never fall into the jug! While deciding to buy, I saw some folks ask what you're supposed to do with the drain tube after you're done.Personally, I pat dry the residual oil off with a paper towel, then stick it in a zip-loc bag along with folded paper towel. At that point it lives in my glove box until it's needed again. No mess and I always know where it is.I also keep the original plug in the glove box too, in case this thing breaks, but I don't see that happening any time soon. One thing I did note, ValvoMax's website and Amazon listed the wrong size (M12-1.75) for my 06 B2300. Amazon listed the correct size (M14-1.50) for an 06 Ford Ranger 2.3l (my truck is simply a rebadged Ranger, vast majority of parts are exactly the same), but ValvoMax's website still had it wrong for a Ranger.Probably best to double check your size before ordering if you have an oddball vehicle. Now if only I could find something like this for the oil filter, then I could get rid of the stupid drain pan all together...

Time and mess saver
After having one of these on my truck for just over a year, I've installed them on all my cars. Once installed, it saves time and most importantly mess during oil changes. Gone are the problems of oil draining onto chassis components and skid plates. The only change I would ask is to have a longer drain hose, but that can be remedied easily enough.
