VViViD+ Matte Metallic Navy Blue (Ghost) Vinyl Wrap Roll (1ft x 5ft)

I used this wrap to cover a set of drums. I have never used it before but it was VERY forgiving and easy to work with. The results are amazing. They look brand new.

Did the wrap myself. Being a tesla, with a bunch of compound curves, it wasn’t too difficult. Just took my time. In certain light it does have a purplish tint to it, but other than that the color matched well to the photos. So far everyone has loved it. The rolls did come with wrinkles on the ends/starts which I could avoid, however some defects weren’t able to be avoided. After baking through the summer, most of these are gone or greatly reduced as vinyl does shrink a little after some exposure. I do feel the quality of the rolling packing could use some efforts in improvement.

I bought this wrap after reading all the reviews about how forgiving and friendly this material is to work with. The material arrived damaged while shipping. The plastic pieces at the end of the vinyl roll were damaged on BOTH sides so I could not set up the roll vertically, adding to the difficult experience. Furthermore, one end of the vinyl roll had tears. As I unwound the roll, I saw a punctured area right in the middle, making the first few feet unusable. I had to cut away about 25 ft of vinyl before the damage started become less noticeable, but if you look closely you can still see it.After I started wrapping with the vinyl, I began to see how difficult this material is to work with. It's very hard to stretch and DEFINITIVELY not forgiving. I have many permanent finger crests and discolored areas despite trying to cold wrap as much as possible. And when I used a heat gun, I accidentally burned the material. I decided I was better off taking the wrap to a shop and have them wrap my car, however all the shops I talked to prefer to work with other brands because of the difficult experience they've faced before with VViViD wraps. I talked to about 8 shops.

Love the VViViD line. I have used other brands before but this is by far my favorite brand. It’s easy to apply and holds up well with all of the rain where I live.I used this to add some color to my recent wrap job. Very happy with the outcome. May not be for everyone but it works for me.
