However, be aware, this book is intended for Turkish speakers. Turkish entries just have an English equivalent, no more -- in particular no pronunciation. But if I look up, say, Jay (the bird), on the English side, there is a pronunciation (cey), and the abbreviation i. (for ism, noun), and the Turkish equivalent. The books opens with a conjugation table for English verbs. So if you are an English speaker, this dictionary offers no support beyond bare translations, in particular no pronunciations or even a pronunciation guide. Admittedly, Turkish spelling is damn close to Spanish's in being phonetic. Review: Too simple - This dictionary is to simple even for elementary schoolchildren. I hoped that it will help my children, but they cannot find many of the word meanings they need to know in grade 4 and 5. Simply, don't go for it unless you are looking for basic level dictionary.

Too simple
This dictionary is to simple even for elementary schoolchildren. I hoped that it will help my children, but they cannot find many of the word meanings they need to know in grade 4 and 5. Simply, don't go for it unless you are looking for basic level dictionary.
