This is the best quality tape recorder that I have seen in decades. I am going to buy more books on cassette tomorrow.

Unable to turn on.
I was unable to turn the blasted thing on. Watched the trouble shooting video and was unable to fine the on off button. Returning as soon as possible. Do not recommend this purchase!

Decent, does not capture stereo cassette.
Pretty decent cheap radio/cassette player. Sound quality is not that great, but not too poor either. One thing to note is that even with headphones/auxiliary hooked up, the cassette player still outputs in mono. It will output the same signal to both sides of the stereo output, but one side will be inverted from the other. You end up getting this really weird audio cancelation effect unless you mute either the left or right speaker, or un-invert one side in post. This does not affect playback with the built in speaker as there is only one to begin with. still pretty annoying as I wanted to use this to convert some tapes to digital, but it won't work for that as I am missing stereo.
