Works Shockingly Well, Even on a Heavy Shedder!
I bought this during the summer after seeing it go viral and figured it would be another “either it works or it doesn’t” pet tool... kind of like those grooming gloves that claim to make fur roll up magically (they definitely don’t). But this brush actually works in the best way. I used it on my pug, who sheds nonstop and usually hates grooming. Wire brushes? She runs. Nail trims? Forget it. Even touching her feet or nose is a battle. But with this tool she literally comes running over and sits with her back turned, ready for grooming. That alone sells it. As for performance, it pulls out a ton of loose fur from her undercoat. I could probably brush her for hours and still have more coming off, but even brief sessions remove a surprising amount. It doesn’t scrape or irritate her skin, just smoothly lifts out all the loose hair that would normally end up on my floors, clothes, furniture... everywhere. If you have a dog who sheds heavily and hates traditional brushes, this thing is absolutely worth it. Super simple, super effective, and apparently pug-approved. It's a wood block with a fine took saw blade on it, but don't be alarmed by the look it works.

Most effective de-shedding tool ever
If you're on the fence, buy it. I've had huskies, a German Shepard/Golden retriever mix (long fur, thick undercoat), and now a long haired cat. It's like living in a snow globe. This is the best grooming tool I've ever owned. When I opened it I had big doubts-it reminds me of a bread knife blade. It works inexplicable well though. The teeth grab loose fur from below the surface without penetrating to the skin. The slim design allowed me to brush high friction areas I've struggled with in the past (armpit mats are a huge problem with our cat), but it's also wide so you can do large surfaces quickly too. The pics show both the culprit and how much fur came out from a half hour session with this thing. Update: this did a more thorough job than I realized. He's gotten nearly no mats since we groomed him last, and it's been a couple weeks. It must have really gotten through to his under coat! We used to have to brush and trim mats 2x a week. He's looking much silkier too (you can see how scruffy he was looking in the pic). This has completely changed the game.

Absolutely Works!
Absolutely works as advertised! Very simple and easy to use. Unlike other combs and brushes, the hair comes off the dog (in our case, a hound dog) and off the brush with ease. No need to stop and remove the hair from the brush - makes it a better experience for me and our dog. This so simple - basically a hacksaw blade mounted into a block of wood. The wood handle has a simple contour that is just the right thickness and is comfortable to hold. It feels like this will last indefinitely. If it were less expensive, then I am convinced that at least 80% of dog owners that brush their dogs would own one.

Works, but check in your toolbox first
Ok, so I don't know anything about grooming animals, but I bought this for my dog after watching a video of someone using one. While this "brush" works surprisingly well, it's essentially just a piece of hacksaw blade with a wood handle. Lol, so it's great in its simplicity.

Pretty much worth it
When I tell you that thing works... It really does. The teeth on this is definitely sturdy and the handling while brushing is light weight. Easy to clean too! I have a elderly rabbit who stays inside now as he is too old and we have predators(hawks) in the spring and summer. He also has a splayed legs problem and cannot properly groom himself. He also wouldn't let me get rid of ALL the matting that formed on his butt since he HATES the electric razor and any kind. He would escape from blanket burritos or struggles a lot. This EasyGroomer is build also like a saw but for fur. It helped so much with getting chunks of matting off. Though please be careful if you do use it for that purpose too and get close to the skin, it works a little too well. I almost knicked my little guy. It's a awesome deshedding tool. Lol

Must have!
This works great! My long haired cat loves being groomed with this! I also use it to remove cat hair from my couch! Great quality and comes in my favorite color, purple!

if you're on the fence, get it
My dog hates being brushed but sheds like no tomorrow and this is the only working solution right now. Yes it looks like a chunk of wood with a bit of sawblade in it. No, it's not literally just that. Its incredibly satisfying to use and shocks me how much hair it can dislodge. Doesn't hurt the dog, the handle shape doesn't hurt to hold, and it's small enough that I can throw it in my coat pocket. Only gripe is that I wish it came with a cover for the blade side when not in use, because while it doesn't hurt the dog or me it's unpleasant to grab accidentally and/or can get stuck in fuzzy things in the same way burrs do. Lifesaver otherwise, my dog is soft and happy and loves this because its closer to petting than brushing.

Doesn’t work well for medium-haired cats
I bought this for my medium haired cat who sheds constantly year round. It seems to do ok at loosening the hair, but it doesn’t do a great job at lifting it. The hair it does lift becomes airborne and has a tendency to float away, making it harder to clean up. My slicker brush is able to get out more hair with less mess. It would probably work well for short haired pets that tend to stay still during brushing, but considering my cat makes constant figure 8s whenever I try and brush him down, it was difficult to really work the hair out of his coat properly with this tool. I don’t think the bristles reach deep enough. I’ve included a photo of my cat for reference. If you have a cat like mine, I’d recommend getting a metal curry comb instead.

Excellent product. It works so easily without using any force.

I bought this for my Boxer, and it works great! It removes a lot of loose fur with just a few strokes and is really gentle on his skin. He enjoys being brushed, and I’ve noticed much less hair around the house. Easy to use and very effective.

That picture is just half of the cat being brushed! I have a super senior double coat kitty who is riddled with arthritis and cancer growths. This comb removed boatloads of dead hair. So gentle! I’ve tried the defurminator - which is effective but not gentle. I’ve tried a boar hair brush which is gentle but not effective. Had my doubts my old man would let me give him a combing, but he seemed to really enjoy it - well, until he figured out I was grooming him not just worshipping him with my hands … but for those few minutes I got up enough dead fur to make a new coat for him. Going to work on his other side tonight to get the rest of the dead hair off. Great product - like shockingly great product!

I have two dogs, both mixed terriers. The older one clearly has an undercoat and doesn't really like any brush I've used on her. I don't think the easy groomer particularly hurts her, but she doesn't enjoy it either. However, the younger one, which is the main shedder, absolutely loves it! She has extremely fine hair that tends to float in the air and follow me everywhere I go. I'd tried every type of brush out there but she would always start screaming and crying. They either were too sharp or ripped out her hair. After using this brush, I finally understand my dog's coat! The brush removes a fuzzy white layer that's almost invisible to the eye, but it works! I use a silicone brush after completing each section to gather up all the hair I cannot see. The first free days it was a complete mess. I know it's working because I need to brush her less and less every day. After 3 weeks of using this brush, my house and clothes have never looked better! I can now get away with only vacuuming once a week, and seeing tiny fluffs of hair here and there, as opposed to rolling hairballs everywhere. When I run my fingers through my dog's coat, only 1-2 hairs come out. Not only that, but my dog and I have found a way to spend quality time together! I'm not exaggerating when I say she falls asleep while I'm grooming her! I've found it's best to do it when she's just woken up, or when she's laying down to relax. She'd start purring like a cat if she could. I finally get what it means to bond through grooming. I'm so glad I found the right brush for one of my dogs! It works well on my other dog too, but I haven't been able to use it consistently because she doesn't care for it. If you've tried every brush under the sun, give this one a go.
