These solar powered candles are absolutely wonderful for outdoor ambiance! I've placed them around my patio and garden areas, and they create such a beautiful, romantic atmosphere every evening. The flickering effect is incredibly realistic - it truly mimics the natural flicker of real candles without any of the fire hazards or maintenance. The solar charging feature works exceptionally well, even on partly cloudy days they still charge enough to provide several hours of soft, warm light throughout the night. I have lots of solar lights in the garden - these look simply fab (no charging panel on show - you simply plonk them in day/sunlight and they charge)... once the sun has set, they flicker and glow romantically and actually give off a fair amount of light - they are very lightweight and the same size as church candles (three different in one set, in my case) So impressed I ended up buying two sets of these lovely lights. NOTE: they work with a rechargeable battery so, if they ever do stop working (and they've been glowing for months now) I'd replace the battery. They are water proof but shouldn't sit in water (as you can remove the base to turn them off / replace the battery). These are the first lights to come on at dusk and the last to switch off at dawn (were still on at 6am the morning after a fairly overcast day in May!) Deffo recommend
