The Stromberg Carlson Stake & Grill makes cooking over a campfire so easy! We've tried to use those built-on grates over the fire rings at campgrounds, and while they work, they're certainly not what I would consider a good option.We took this on our camping trip last week, and it performed flawlessly. Adjusting the height and position of the grill is effortless. The stake is pretty robust. There is some mild deformation from where the back of my hatchet glanced off the edge of it when I was hammering it into the ground, but that's more my problem than the product's.The finish on the grill seems to be of very good quality, and so long as it is taken care of I feel like it should provide good service for many seasons.We did have an issue with the bag when it arrived. The pouch that the stake slides into was already torn. I contacted the seller, and they reached out very quickly that they had messaged the manufacturer and would let me know. Before we were even back from our camping trip, there was a replacement sitting on our front porch. So, kudos to both the seller and the manufacturer for outstanding service after the delivery!All-in-all, very pleased with this purchase and so long as it holds up as well as I believe it will, I would purchase another one whenever this one can no longer be used.

Absolutely love this product!! I love how it’s compact and cleans up nicely with a little soap and Brillo pad or steel wool. I camp a lot and not all fire rings have a metal grate for cooking. We cook foil packet meals and I also place meat right on top of it too if having burgers, chicken, or steak. Works just like a grill would. Very durable and the function of being able to raise and lower it depending on the flames is great! It has this nice bag for when not in use making its portability a breeze.

This grate is perfect for cooking over an open fire. Food did not stick, plenty of space for meats and vegetables. The raised sides really helped from keeping food from rolling off. Very sturdy and easy to clean

The media could not be loaded. We bought this for camping, but unfortunately, haven’t had the opportunity to use it yet. After opening it, it looks sturdy and well made. I bought this because it had the rounded edge to it so food can’t roll off into the fire. As soon as I use it, I plan on uploading another video. I’m impressed by the case that it’s in and the weight of the item. You could tell they took great care in the design. Looking forward to using this. It’s a little heavy, but I think that’s something you want to make sure it sturdy and does the job well. The size is reasonable and it’ll be easy to transport. I gave it four stars because we haven’t used it yet, but I will update.

This works great for camping and very easy to clean and store in our camper. The kids love to use it and cook on it as well. It is sturdy and very well made. Great value for the money.

I had been wanting a grill to be able to cook things over the fire. This thing is awesome! It comes with a nice little case to keep it together. It makes it easy to store and more compact. It’s only two pieces, it lets gravity keep it in place. No confusing mechanisms to adjust heights. Easy to use! Once you are done cooking it’s easy to turn away from the fire to begin letting it cool. It was more expensive than some others but so worth it! I highly recommend!

Adapted well to the high concrete fire rings used in Michigan State parks. The entire set is heavy duty steel construction, and should last for many years with some care. The cooking grid is quite large, and I like the liparound the edge that keeps food from rolling or sliding off into the fire.Tried it out on a recent trip, and it worked great!
