I purchased the Owala 40 oz bottle in the Candy Store color way as a gift for my wife, and she absolutely loves it. She’s tried plenty of water bottles over the years and genuinely says this is the best one she’s ever used. The standout feature is the FreeSip lid design. Being able to choose between sipping through the built-in straw or tilting the bottle to drink from the spout is incredibly convenient. It sounds like a small thing, but in daily use it makes a big difference, especially for workouts, commuting, or just lounging at home. The 40 oz size is perfect. It holds a large amount of water without feeling overly bulky, and it keeps drinks cold all day long. We’ve filled it in the morning and still had ice hours later, which is exactly what you want from an insulated stainless steel bottle. Aesthetically, the bottle looks great. The Candy Store colorway is attractive and modern, and it doesn’t feel like a boring, utilitarian water bottle. The overall build quality feels solid and premium, and the lid seals well with no leaks so far. The only minor downside we’ve noticed is that the exterior can scratch more easily than expected. After just a couple days of use, it picked up a small scratch from being in a bag with keys. That said, this doesn’t affect performance at all and feels more like normal wear-and-tear than a quality issue. Overall, this bottle is the real deal. Thoughtful design, excellent insulation, great size, and genuinely enjoyable to use every day. If you’re considering it for yourself or as a gift, it’s absolutely worth it.

I’ve tried every big-brand trendy water bottle in the last 8 years—Hydroflask, HyrdoJug, Yeti, Stanley, etc. I only just recently got an Owala. GAME CHANGER! I’m a Senior in college and wish I got this years ago instead of all those other ones. The best college water bottle. Pros: - open with one hand - leak free seal - sip or gulp options (perfect for studying in the library where I prefer sipping but also great for going to the gym where I prefer to gulp) - fits in my backpack water bottle pocket, inside, or could easily attach a carabiner to it and hang on the outside (perfect for travel). I still use my Stanley for drinks that aren’t water (eg hot chocolate, smoothies, etc) because I find it keeps things hot better, and while the Owala keeps things pretty cold, I don’t want to drink my smoothies out of it. But my Owala is my new everyday go-to! No scratches yet, but that’s what stickers are for :)

It is great quality, cute colors and is the perfect size for carrying on road trips to school really anywhere!!!! This water bottle is super practical too and I love the design in the way the bottle just fits into my backpack side pocket This is great for students in any age category And it’s also great because of how we prove it is and how I can thrown into my bag and it won’t leak a single drop on to any of my paperwork anything it is the most leak proof water bottle that I’ve ever owned And if you really like this Walla, you should also try Stanley’s if you haven’t tried them because they are also a great water bottle brand

I love it. I have been wanting one for a year, but couldn’t justify buying a new bottle. Well I ordered one as a gift to myself after Christmas, and I absolutely love it. I got the 24oz which I do need to refill several times because I drink a lot of water. However, I prefer this size. It’s slim and easy to hold and not cumbersome or wobbly like others. I love the dual use of the top. I don’t care for straws and opt for the chug cap when I can. The built in straw is great though. I like having it when I’m driving so I don’t have to put the bottle in my face to take a sip, also the straw works effortlessly. Love the color and texture. I left 4 stars for one small flaw. Maybe it’s not all of them, but for mine the cap doesn’t twist to an even center to align with the side grip area. It’s slightly off center when closed tight. Otherwise perfect.
