I bought this for some new sunglasses. It's not as sturdy as a similar steel case I had for a previous pair that is no longer available, but it looked like it would fill the bill. Sadly, my glasses are too big, and I had to return it.

First, delivery was lost so I got it 4 days late. Packaging was flimsy bubblewrap envelope so it probably was bumped and compressed during shipping. The glass case is quite small and will not fit sunglasses. A woman's small regular glasses just barely fit in. The catch to open it is hard to use and then it doesn't close easily. You have to push the latch in to close it. While outside it looks good, it feels cheap with thin metal veneer over a cardboard liner. I am very disappointed and expected a LOT better for the cost.

Pros :- it is sturdyCons :- rounded and slippery means that it is hard to hold onto- the rattling of my glasses inside this case when I walk drives my wife crazy- in order to close it, I have to manually depress the internal latching tab (not the convenient button that is on the outside). SO, it flips open OK, but cannot be closed easily

I bought this to replace a similar one. The finish is a matte finish, not polished chrome. And it was extremely difficult to open the spring loaded catch. However, the interior is nicely lined to prevent scratches. Just make sure your glasses fold flat enough to fit this case.

Easy to get into, perfect for a purse.

It's a Nice Shiny Object but unless you plan to put it on a shelf just to admire it, it's much too fragile for real life. The metal is so thin that the shape is easily deformed, which puts the lid out of alignment and could easily bend or crush your glasses. What's the point of a glasses case that can't protect your glasses?The lid has a spring. The first time I pressed the catch it opened nicely. But the catch is tiny and so poorly built, it wouldn't close. If I used two hands I could fuss with it and coax it to close. But you'd have to do that every time you opened and closed it.Returned!I only gave it two stars because it really looks great. Usable? No. Attractive? Sure!

My husband bought this case to protect his custom made sunglasses from getting damaged, due to his active lifestyle. The case is slim enough that it fits nicely in any gym bag, sling bag, purse, etc. He definitely loves this case and says that it’s durable and will definitely protect his glasses if the case falls or has some pressure applied. He says that having the button to unlock the case definitely makes them more secure as well, since nothing can just flip the lid and allow dust or whatever get into it.

This was a mistake. The case arrived damaged. The top piece or lid was pushed down over the bottom piece and the push button latch . The push in latch was pushed in so far that it was jammed in the closed position. I was able to separate them but the top is bent and you have to push the locking clip all the way in and then line the lip up to get it to close. It takes both hands to get the lid to open and to close. It is not worth the effort or time to send it back which is probably what the seller hopes will happen. Don't waste your money on this junk!!

The brand of pants I wear have narrow side pockets where I keep my glasses in this case that is compact and tough.

The product was not the same size nore the same finish as the picture. Worst of all, I have to pay to return it???!!!AWFUL

Die Hülle eignet sich wirklich nur für kleine Lesebrillen, dies war bei mir der Fall, soweit so gut.Die große Schwachstelle ist der Verschluss, der war bei mir nach kurzer Zeit abgebrochen.Dabei wurde die Brille nicht täglich genutzt.
