I bought these for my son while he was in basic training. He said they are extremely comfortable and better than the ones he was issued with his uniform. They fit him well, true to size. They are sturdy and great quality, and have withstood rigorous training and all kinds of weather conditions. They have held up well during long 10 mile marches, too. They are lightweight despite the strong quality. He said the guys he trained with asked about them frequently and requested them for themselves, too. I bought the coyote brown color, which is the required color for his uniform. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a backup pair of boots for training and I’ve recommended them to others based on my son’s review of them.

As a land surveyor, I walk A LOT! And most boots only last me 6 months, nice boots last me about 2 years. This is only my 3rd pair of Belleviews in 12 years..... I'm always rubbing my foot on the ground (kicking up dirt and debris, while looking for property corners), and these soles never wear, rip, or separate on me. I step on a lot of boards and trash with nails and spikes through it, these soles never puncture. I hike through Florida swamps and vines and undergrowth, this leather never fades or cracks or gets ripped. One pair lasted me 5 years, then I bought a pair of "tactical research" (owned by belleville), and they lasted a little over 3 years, and now I have these. Best boots, straight out of the box, that I've ever even heard of.

Been wearing them for a few weeks. These boots are comfortable and very lightweight. Really happy with the purchase, especially for how much I paid. For future buyers, I do recommend getting one size larger than what you'd normally wear. I usually wear 10.5 running shoes and getting an 11.5 in these boots were perfect.

When I ordered these there was a lot of loose threads and seemed to be poorly manufactured. I found some other Belleville boots that I love and seemed much better. Returned these.

The military issues these boots both in steel and non-steel. However, I do not believe they are great boots for military standards. My issued boots broke down within two years, so I bought a new pair from Amazon's vendor. However, the pair I received from the vendor was torn and frayed on one boot, and the other did not fit correctly. I returned the boots to the vendor and bought the Rocky RCK042 boot. So far much better fit and comfort, and appear to be better quality.

Boot are nice. However the add said order size smaller they run big. Put on they were very tight, but hoped they would stretch a bit. They did not. Would be nice boot if they fit. I should buy shoes where I can try them on.
