Simply Silver Toothpaste (Spearmint)

The texture is very different from your "regular" toothpaste and it would vary from batch to batch as it is a natural product. I can taste the coconut oil when brushing and it feels amazing. You are brushing your teeth and doing oil pulling at the same time. I put it in my floss to make sure all the goodness goes in between my teeth. It is truly amazing. Their mouthwash is amazing as well. I would make my own toothpaste but now I dont have to. I trust this product to give me the best natural solution for my mouth. Would definitely continue buying. 5 starts for me.

Not only have I tried several bottles of Heather the Hygienist Simple Silver mouthwash I’ve tried the spearmint toothpaste and absolutely love it! I first and foremost love that it’s an ALL natural toothpaste with NO harmful ingredients! I also love the flavor and the paste like consistency. It feels refreshing and I really like how this cleans my teeth. Every time I use it, it feels like I’m getting a really good cleaning! Please note…because it’s made with coconut oil the texture/consistency changes with how warm or cold it is. When the toothpaste is firm be sure to press a little into your toothbrush to ensure it stays on.

I decided to move away from the over counter fluoride toothpaste and had been doing some research on other options. I gave Simply Silver a try and like both the toothpaste and mouthwash. The reason I picked Simple Silver was that it had coconut oil which I had always heard was good for teeth and mouth. I love the mouthwash as it leaves a fresh taste and does not burn like over the counter products you buy. The toothpaste, however, was initially hard to get out of the tube due to its thickness and my guess, the coconut oil. I had to warm the tube and then it came out better. You might not like that inconvenience but the toothpaste itself has a nice subtle mint flavor. Since I have not used it long enough to tell if it actually whitens the teeth, I just selected a 3 on my comments.

I am sold on Simply Silver toothpaste and mouthwash The toothpaste cleans without being abrasive. The flavor is very nice - Spearmint. When I brush , floss and follow up with their mouthwash , I have far less bad breath in the morning.

This toothpaste tastes good, it's nice to use, it has made my teeth whiter and most importantly, it is repairing damage to my teeth. My teeth were once so sensitive on the side I had a perio scaling years ago (don't do it, just eat a carnivore diet for a few months, instead), that I couldn't brush there. This toothpaste ended all of that. It is also reminieralizing a long-time problem spot. I wanted to believe in reminieralizing, but I've been a skeptic for a long time. This toothpaste changed all of that. Going to try the mouthwash now, as well! Thank you to the brilliant woman who finally created a product that works.

Prior to ordering, I'd read the comments about the toothpaste being oily. Once received and before opening the cap, I vigorously shook the tube, in hopes of mixing the ingredients. After unscrewing the cap, I found the safety seal was compromised. Perhaps it never sealed correctly in the first place, due to the oily mess that was underneath the cap and subsequently ran down the tube and ended up on my hands and in the sink. It really was a mess. But, it also smelled amazing! It reminded me of Wrigley's Spearmint Gum from the 70s and 80s. However, this toothpaste has much better ingredients. Due to the breached safety seal, the messy nature of the ingredients, and the fact that the tube seemed to be roughly half full, I returned it to Amazon.com and received a refund. For now, I will try a different hydroxyapatite toothpaste, in hopes I'll find one that's not as oily. I'm giving this product three stars, because I think the ingredients are sensible and safe, the product smells amazing, and because it contains hydroxyapatite. The withholding of two stars is due to the messy nature of the product, the difficulty mixing it, and the tube not seeming to contain enough product. The last one is speculation on my part, so keep that in mind. Unfortunately, I didn't have a scale to weigh the product. At some point, I'd like to come back and order the product again. Thees is some concern about the coconut oil eventually clogging the drain, but I'd be willing to just spit the waste into the trash can.

Be using this now for a couple of days. I must say I like it and am very happy that you only need to use a pea-sized amount which means it will last for a while. Love that it has colloidal silver in it and is remineralizing my teeth
