Kyocera DuraForce XD E6790 Tmobile 16GB 4G LTE Android Smartphone

The phone was new and as shown. The delivery was faster than stated. The vendor was accessible.

It's a tough phone. What that means is that it's not really that *great* at being 'smart' phone, but really great at being dropped...on the ground...or into a pool....or that one time I dropped it in the ocean. It browses the web well enough, lets me check/write emails, sends texts, watch youtube, and various other stuff. It won't game well, but I don't care because I don't need that. It's only 16gb of space, but can take an SD card to increase that if I cared (I don't). It chews through battery so be aware of that. With all that said it's exactly what I wanted. I've wrecked enough cell phones to take the meh camera, poor battery life, and various other faults that comes with a tough phone because I can drop this thing nearly anywhere and into nearly anything and it's fine.

I purchased 2 phones one for me and one for my 17 year old son. I loved my old Kyocera Hydro but it's over 4 years old and becoming "slow" but that phone has taken a beating over the years which is why I upgraded to the DuraForce. I'm a serious poultry hobbyist/enthusiast and I require something durable that can get dirty and take being dropped. The camera is meh but I do most of my serious camera work with a DSLR anyway so no big deal to me. My son loves his phone and his friends are amazed by how heavy it is.

surprisingly not bad, i didnt have high hopes when a ordered it, it was meant to be a inbetween phone when i destroyed my old one and had not decided on what i wanted for a new one (been thinking about the lg v30) its been several months now no issues. its not the best screen or the greatest camera or fastest processors or most ram but it is a solid phone with a big screen and loud sound which has been great for my line of work (construction).

Installer my T-Mobile SIM card and the phone bitter just fine. Had network connection for about a minute, then it dropped out. When I made a call during the minute it had connection, a message came up stating, "Remove you hand or whatever is covering the phone" and then would not respond to any input whatsoever. I had to power down the phone. You'd think these would be put through their paces BEFORE shipping them out and having the customer do the quality control. Very disappointing.

I like the phone for work it's clear and loud in all whether conditions the battery life could stand to be a little better but it is a great phone

Phone does not charge... so now I have a dead phone.
