Staub Cast Iron 12.5-inch x 9-inch Oval Baking Dish - Matte Black, Made in France

I ordered this yesterday after watching a YouTube of Jaques Pepin making his mom's Cheese Souffle. It arrived the next morning and I was a hero for Valentine's dinner. This pan is flawless. Non stick, feels fantastically smooth, very heavy and looks like a work of art. Perfect roaster pan for a couple.

This is an amazing pan. I want to use it everyday and look for recipes just to do so. Beautiful craftsmanship, easy to care for. I would buy this pan again.

I love Staub products! They are put on my wish list for my family to think about for that "special present".This small one fits into the toaster oven and I can use it for all sorts of dishes that require that hot searing cast iron magic .And since it is so classic to look at I can take it to the table for serving, eliminating another dish to clean.PWK

I use it for backing and on stove top. Just season the pan after use, for stove top it does best with low temp.

I bought this as my entry level Staub pan because I wanted to try the brand without spending $200+ dollars immediately and not know if it was worth it. I picked the Staub 7.5 Inch Round Roasting Dish to buy because I have seen MANY restaurants use it in their kitchens, so I figured it must be good. And it really was.If you follow seasoning instructions, this pan is as non stick as those toxic Teflon or hard anodized pans. Yes, it is very small in size, but it works for making a single serving omelet, grilled cheese, or chicken breast.I would recommend this small pan / dish for anyone that wants to start experimenting with Staub enameled cast iron pans. Its quality is on par with the rest of their products.

Expected 10 1/2 inch pan. Received 7 1/2 inch. Very disappointed.
