Great product
This thing works great it’s rather small. I purchased to run it in a yacht to help keep moisture level down and it does a great job if you run the drain tube to a drain you don’t have to keep emptying it. It doesn’t move much air so I use a fan to help circulate air and that helps keep the moisture pulled out with this little thing. Overall great product just wish it moved more air

Really really SMALL; Didn't work; BUT the seller is going to make good on it!
UPDATE, 2 weeks in: I'd begun the return process, opting to bring item to a neighboring KOHLs (no label or printing label required), and then I was contacted via email by the seller, apologetic about the 'dud' I received, and willing to refund my money fully in exchange for sharing with future customers their 100% guarantee backing their products. So, assuming this is legit, I'm canceling the refunding process, and, upon receiving proof of refund via the company directly, I will post one last time with a 1-star rating or a 4-star rating -- at least regarding customer service satisfaction and, for now, in good faith, I'm changing my rating to a 4-star since they've promised to make good my not-good product. Stay tuned?Initially, 2 weeks ago...went like this: I liked how easy to lift the box, as if there was little in it. Emphasis on 'little' as in size -- no way this is gonna reduce humidity in upward to 800 sq ft! Maybe they meant to claim EIGHTY square feet? The water container is about a quart size. I'm hoping, at least, for what I clearly overpaid, it'll reduce the humidity in my walk-in closet!I can forget about the other 800 square feet of my all-windows-closed against the high outdoor humidity. Current indoor humidity at 70%! Not good.So far, running this unit in my closet for 2 hours, has reduced the humidity from 70% to 66%...but with only a quarter inch of water in the tiny plastic tank. Not thrilled that I didn't realize how tiny a unit not meant for a 'room' of any real size, but it still cost me more than it should have for so little good end-results.As for energy efficient? I have no idea whether it is or it isn't, two hours into ownership of it.As of 48 hours sitting in my less than 100 square foot walk-in closet, the humidity went back up to 68%; the temp of the space increased to 70 degrees (it WAS were I kept things 'chill'); and the only water I see collected in the light blue tank is less than 1"!Please Note: The Seller, currently, has promised me a full refund and that, along with refunding my method of payment, I'm to keep the product just them same, since they stand behind their products and wish to offer 100% customer satisfaction.I'm vocal about touting the virtues of [said] businesses just as thoroughly as I am willing to share caveats and negative reviews as warranted.

Doesn't work, just gets warm and moves some air
Don't bother with this. It just doesn't work. We tried it in the bathroom, we tried it in very humid and also standard conditions. It get some moisture, sure, and there will be a tiny amount I'm the tank after several hours... but, this is after a shower was just taken and humidity was high. The humidity will dissipate by itself faster than this device will do anything, so just don't bother.

1+ year in, works amazing!!
This little guy is such a trooper in my bathroom that doesn't have any ventilation in the winter!! Keeps my bathroom drier than anywhere else in the house. Super effective! A little noisy but eh, he works great!

Checks All the Boxes
I have had several small dehumidifiers over the years to control moisture in a basement sump pump enclosure. The qualities that I have come to appreciate include:1) A power supply built-in to the dehumidifier. The air being pulled through the dehumidifier cools the power supply. I have had dehumidifiers with external power supplies that got very warm and failed within a couple years.2) A large water reservoir that can hold a weeks worth of moisture before emptying. I like to check on the sump space on a weekly basis, and emptying the water container is ideal at this time. It does have the ability to drain water directly by attaching a hose to the water reservoir if desired.3) A mechanical power switch that will keep the unit operating if power is removed and reapplied. Many small dehumidifiers are push-button processor operated and will shut off if power is removed and reapplied. I control the power to this unit with a Wi-Fi switch that cuts the power to the unit. I need it to come back on when I reapply power.4) Quiet operation. The noise level of this unit is low volume and constant. This dehumidifier checks all these boxes. Very happy with it.

It does work! But. . .
I live in south Florida where humidity is a fact of life. I picked this up in hopes of helping to keep the humidity down in my 400sqft apartment at night. The installed wall AC unit is over spec'd. This is great during the day to stay cool, but at night when the sun goes down, the wall unit does not have to work as hard to cool so humidity builds up at the set temp. While the dehumidifier does work, I think there is some public confusion on the device. The advertising says 'up to' a liter of water per day, at 86f and 80% humidity. You have to keep in mind, the lower the temp and lower the humidity, the less water the unit will collect. In my environment of 77f and 76%; it may be a half cup a day.Edit: After some more time with the unit, the little dehumidifier can not keep up. Again, the unit works.. but sorely, is not a 800sqft real world dehumidifier. The little aluminum heat syncs are not enough condensing surface area for water. to effectively dehumidify a 400sqft living space, let alone the advertised 800sqft space. Maybe a lab, sealed 800sqft space.
