If I could give this zero stars, I would. My dogs LOVE the flavor --- but here's the BIG problem. They are NOT highly digestible and Amazon won't give a refund. On May 5, 2017, my shih tzu swallowed one. He got very sick and his stomach was extremely distended. I took him to my vet where he stayed for approximately 7-8 while they continued to radiograph his stomach which was huge from the bloating and gas distention. After 8 hours, they thought the bone had finally digested. On May 15th, I stuffed one inside a Kong so that he would chew it slowly (I hoped). He bit the end off and swallowed it but it got stuck in his esophagus. He was retching, swelling, and foaming at the mouth. I took him to the UF Small Animal Hospital, where they did emergency surgery on him...fortunately, they were able to pull the piece of Nylabone out with an endoscope. During the over 3-hour procedure, they discovered something in his stomach. It was an undigested piece of Nylabone, which they were able to remove. I am in negotiations with Nylabone as present because of this. It cost me over $2,000 in vet bills, plus the unrefunded (by Amazon) cost of the bag of bones ... most importantly, my dog nearly died TWICE from these bones which as mislabled as highly digestible. If one gets into your dog's stomach, it will cause gases to form and swell the dog's stomach to about 4 times it's size; alone with vomiting, foaming at the mouth, retching, and being unable to even walk due to the pain.

My little dog got very sick with this..I gave hm one and in about an hour I found him with a piece 2" x1" in his mouth. He was carrying it around...he never could have chewed it at this point as he has tiny teeth, and luckily I found it before he choked on it. I was surprised that he had apparently eaten the rest of it so quickly. They seemed pretty hard to me. The next day he had diarrhea EVERYWHERE in his crate and even outside. I was very worried about him . DO NOT BUY. I have since researched it after seeing other negative reviews and they have the reaction in many dogs, and can break into shards causing intestinal damage. Amazon needs to remove these.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. We gave one to my dog and pieces of it ripped her bowel and she's going to need surgery. Amazon needs to remove this product. Look online these "treats" are killing pets all over the place. REMOVE THIS PRODUCT

My 3-month old puppy (14lbs) ripped the bone into 1/3 in underone minute... they really should replace the 'longer lasting' with 'barely lasting.' The other issue is I'm reading that a lot of dogs don't set well with this treat. They either choke on it or get extremely gassy or develop diarrhea. I'm already looking for a better and longer lasting alternative for my dog.EDIT: She ate the WHOLE bone in about 15 minutes, mainly because it fell outside her crate and she spent some time trying to get it back. I had to get it for her. But next morning, her stool was extremely runny and orange... so needless to say I will probably throw away the last two. She seems perfectly fine, ate breakfast and played like normal, but the odd stool is enough to make me stop.

These were fine at first when they arrived and I gave my little 'Choston' one to gnaw on. After a bit, she she threw it down and started acting really weird. She would just stand in the middle of the floor, with her ears back and her head dipped, and would just look as if she's trying to say somethings wrong. Not even 20 minutes later, she puked over 8 times! Very slimy and smelled so bad that I almost vomited my self several times trying to clean it all up. She puked sop much that the last 2 pukes were foamy, slimy, and sort of yellowish looking. I have got her cleaned up now, and calmed down on the couch in my lap. I am watching for any more signs of vomiting or even starting a fever so I can contact our local Vet. Use extreme caution when purchasing items such as these, every dog has a different result after having them. Both positive, and negative. - J.A.

These are a nice addition to my 22 lb. Jack Russell Terrier mix eat/treat regimen. I basically hand feed my dog piecemeal, giving her or hiding pieces of meat and kibble and healthy treats throughout the day. These Nylabone Healthy Edibles Roast Beast and Chicken Flavored bones are borderline healthy. They don't substitute for a nutritional feeding, but they're nice, she likes them. I give her 1/2 of one bone twice a day (they're easy enough to snap in half) and it lasts about 10 minutes so it keeps her busy. I had these on subscribe and save but the price can fluctuate and get pretty high so you have to keep an eye on them.9/10/2016 - UPDATE - After nearly 2 years of daily Nylabone edibles treats I have eliminated this treat from my dog's regimen and will not purchase again. She has consistently gets very sick after eating them now - vomiting and diarrhea. I am certain it is the Nylabone edible treat as the cause - I eliminated all treats for 1 week and then spent 6 weeks adding in one treat at a time - going a a few days to a week before adding back another treat. She gets sick every time I she gets a Nylabone edible. They changed something and it makes my dog sick.

My pugs love these so much BUT. I watch them with these sorts of things. Once I heard one making a sound that seemed troubling, I had to fish a 1"+ chunk out of this out of his mouth. I will go back to using the hard plastic bone that I can rub some peanut butter on, I have yet to save myself from literal grief with those. They chew and chew and I still have a live dog after. Please, look at this picture. This pug is a toy breed, just over 6 months old. He could have swallowed this. I could have had a dead puppy.

So we got these to keep our husky pup busy while she was teething, and I can't tell you enough how much it totally terrified me to walk over and see that she had almost cleared the thing after 20 minutes and to find that what was left was a pointed shard of nylabone. They're a cute shape, they clearly taste great as she naws away at them, but they don't last long and they snap easily. Too small for a 4 month old husky puppy! After about twenty minutes our pup will swallow the remaining bone and god only knows how much that thing hurts going down. Won't be buying them again.

These lasted no longer than the cheap dental treats - given the price I thought they were a properly flavored Nylabone or something in between a Nylabone and a dental treat i.e. something that would last more than a few minutes - they didn't

My 8 month old Shih Tzu puppy loves the bacon flavoured bone so when I saw this pack decided to purchase it. I cut the bone into two as I have a feeling if I gave her the whole thing it would be eaten in one go. Half a bone keeps her happy for around 15 minutes but I watch her all the time when eating it. Not tried the other two yet as I only give her a piece on special occasions. However 28 July I paid £5.31 with free postage stunned to see Amazon today are pricing this at £8.26 needless to say no matter how much Holly enjoys these bones I will not be paying anywhere near this new price for them.

I had bought these treats in the hope that it would help our dog with his teething. Sadly our dog made short work of each treat within ten seconds. Beware as well that this item is not eligible for a return so if you're disappointed, you're left out of pocket. Would not buy again.

Ordered before Xmas within the timeframes included but did not arrive on time. Seller contact was good though.I bought these for my 9 month old Sprocker spaniel thinking it would keep her occupied for an hour or so but only got around 20 mins respite. I would not buy again for the price but she is a power chewer so these will probably suit other doggies better.

I bought them for my golden retriever , thought they would have lasted longer than 10mins.
