Easy to assemble (just screw on feet), good footstool size and height, pretty fabric pattern, comfortable cushion, lightweight and easy to move, pretty oak color. Also has a decent amount of storage.

This item arrived exactly as pictured and I am very happy with my purchase. I was looking for a simple, low profile foot rest to use with one of our chairs and this is exactly what I wanted. It assembled in 60seconds (all you do is screw in the legs) and is just the right height. I also love that it doesn’t take up a ton of space and isn’t too tall like most of the ones you see at the store. I will probably recover the lid at some point to better match our decor but I’m very happy with this purchase! I will note that a lot of the negative reviews seem to be from people claiming it’s not sturdy or fell apart but this footrest is not supposed to be a step stool and includes a removable sticker stating that you should not stand on it. It seems very sturdy for what it is to me.

I bought this footstool mainly for decorative purposes, and that’s exactly how I use it. The pattern is very pretty, and it works well as an accent piece in my entryway, paired with a mirror. It’s quite small, lightweight, and feels delicate, so I wouldn’t recommend it as a functional stool for regular sitting. I do sit on it occasionally to put on shoes, and it hasn’t broken, but it’s low and not really designed for that. The storage compartment is simple and works, but it’s not meant to hold much. Overall, it’s a nice decorative item if that’s what you’re looking for. Just don’t expect it to function like a sturdy stool or ottoman.

This was a perfect addition to my study room! This is astheticaly pleasing and makes for great storage as well!

I'll start out by saying this is very cute...and it matched the room I was going to use it in...however, it didn't quite work for what I wanted. I needed an ottoman for my dog to use to get up and down off the bed. Unfortunately, this was just a little small for our need (13 lb maltipoo). Not so much for the jump up...but the jump down there would have been too much chance of tumbling off. Also, how the lid is made...it kinda "flaps" when she'd try to jump on it...so it kinda scared her. I was going to keep it to use as a foot rest for my chair...but, it didn't feel sturdy enough for daily use for a guy...especially if you try to push it to move it with your feet. Now, for a petite lady...this might be a good option. I will say it was super easy to put together...all you do is screw in the legs to the bottom of the stool. But just know, it doesn't screw in far and the screws are small and it's going to to partical board...and that's why I don't think it will be sturdy enough for daily use. But it's would be really nice for a decorating touch. One other downside for me...there were several flaws in the fabric...nothing major. But that, along with it's wasn't going to work for my dog and not quite sturdy enough for me to use with a chair, I returned it. I'm posting a video and some pictures to help other's decide if this is right for them. I used a water bottle to help people understand the dimensions. . Hope this helps others!

At 1st I thought "well, it's a bit small . . . however, it's still cute & should be suitable for occasional use. Plus, it has a bit of storage space where I can keep my books or whatever . . ." Not even an hour after taking it out of the box it began to fall apart!! 1st a leg comes loose. I assume that it simple isn't screwed in well enough & immediately discovered that was NOT the case. The screw had detached completely. So, I think that I'll fix it with some wood glue & new bits. This works for a few hours the following day. (As there's a 24 hour waiting period for the glue to set.) After I've fixed the 1st leg . . . All is well for a few hours before yet ANOTHER problem arises! A 2nd leg comes apart in the exact same fashion. As you can imagine, this had made me rather annoyed. I'm determined, though & thus, resolved to make this mess of fabric & partical board work properly. So, I fix the 2nd leg & the following day . . . The bottom drops out! The bottom dropped out under the weight of a pair of wool, slipper socks!! ⚠️To Summarize⚠️ THIS THING IS A WORTHLESS, AGGRAVATING, SAD EXCUSE FOR A PRESCHOOL ART PROJECT ISN'T WORTH A CENT! THEY SHOULD BE PAYING PEOPLE TO ACCEPT THIS DUMPSTER FIRE!

Perfect in every way. The fabric, the height, the storage is perfect for me. The assembly was so easy to screw the legs in. This is exactly what I was looking for.

This is a very handy little footstool especially with the storage inside. It's perfect for storing cards or other things you are finishing in the livingroom. When you receive it you just have to screw on the legs. However, the wood has more of an oak-cherry finish. It's a little red. It works for me as I have different colours of wood in my place, but those who are planning to match it to their typical oak finish coffee or end tables may be disappointed with it. My only wish is that it was a little bit higher, especially for the price. However, it does fit nicely in a smaller spot, such as under your coffee table. It's best to put it away as it's easy to trip on because it is so low. P.S. I just want to add that the bottom is not finish and even the covering underneath is very cheap. You don't see that of course, but the legs may scratch the floor. I love it though and it's so handy.

it's the right size, comfy for my feet and the storage is a nice touch

I really like this item and it is made really well. The only problem is the stickers should have been on the cellophane packaging and not on the fabric top. Very difficult and time consuming problem to remove them .

It is a little smaller than I thought. It looks just as nice as I hoped. I like the extra storage. Very happy with this little footstool.
