Better than the passion planner.
Beautiful planner. Exceptional quality. I am very excited to use it. My sister showed me her passion planner and it's around $35-$45. This price point is perfect. I also did bullet journaling for a year and I found it exhausting compared to this system. I am loving the layout and I am very motivated to use this as my everything planner. Very pleased so far with my purchase.I couldn't be happier with this planner, it includes so many options and is very customizable.I love the idea that it is reusable for many years and I can erase the dates and keep my typical January events and reminders that always need to be re reminded of every year.Physically the planner has a fancy waterproof cover, and three bookmark ribbons ( each a different color). I love the budget section. This starts with helping your form mission and vision statements, and then and then goes on to help you analyze and prioritize your goals in different areas of your life so you can identify how to go about getting them step by step. This book helps break down your goal time lines and make things have realistic expectations making them easier to acheive.Of course it also includes a monthly calander ( with space to write on each day). And also weekly two page calanders with separate sections for each day marked off into time segments and including space for goals habits, and room to add affirmations and track your skill growth, habits, and goals along with many other things. Each day begins with three priorities and three things your thankful for. Easy peasy. And a loop to hold your pencil. The end has several blank pages where I keep my important phone numbers, addresses and passwords along with important thoughts. And a nice enclosed envelope page on the back cover to keep any must have papers on hand.Really there is so much in here and it is all motivation. I can't recommend this planner highly enough. If you want to use a planner to help improve your life this is the one!

Simple planner that you'll actually use
My coworkers are obsessed with the Passion Planner. Personally, I found it very overwhelming. I tried another brand that was a "step down" from Passion Planner, but equally overwhelming. I found myself avoiding it because there were simply too many questions. I really like the size and simplicity of this one. Monthly calendar, budget, and weekly agendas are separate sections, which will take some getting used to. But already the budget section is bringing me so much clarity and peace of mind. Since this one is smaller, it fits in more of my purses, which was important to me because I'm downsizing from my "big bag." The quality is also terrific. The cover is super soft and the pages haven't bled with my heavy-hand and gel pen combo. Thanks, Live Whale!

Wonderful for those of us who dont always have time to set up a bullet journal
I kind of love this thing. I needed something very basic to use and set up for my day to day life. I was doing bullet journal and found that I could not keep up with creating new weekly and monthly spreads. In comes the Live Whale planner. It gives you blank monthly and weekly set ups to customize however you'd like. There is a goals page and monthly brain dumps as well as a budget tracker (which I am currently not using but should be....). There is still some creative room and I still utilize my stickers and washi tape just like I was with my plain dot grid.I have two minor problems with this planner though. I kind of wish that it did not give the time of day in the weekly spread. It only gives you 6am-8pm. I dont use it for appointments that way. Instead, I use the space as a to-do list and create little check boxes to go through. I do love that it gives a priority box up top so I can remember the most important things that I need to do that day.The second is purely my craziness coming through. I HATE that the monthly spread is laid out Sunday through Saturday while the weekly is Monday through Sunday. I personally prefer monday through sunday which works on my weekly just fine but when I copy the future events from the monthly that was set up a "day off" I accidentally write appointments incorrectly. Again, this is just my craziness for the same ordering system. Next month I just plan on shifting the day of the week to reflect the monday - sunday set up that I prefer. Might be unattractive but It sets my mind at ease.Overall I love the thing though. It is much easier for me to keep up with my work than creating spreads from scratch on a regular. I just don't have the time but I love having a planner that has wiggle room to create or skip weeks or months without feeling like you wasted a bunch of prelabeled pages.

beautiful, well designed planner.
I love this journal. I got the pink one and it seems like it'll hold up to my purse. very nice quality and the perfect size to take with me. I started out this year with the happy planner which is the one I used last year, but I didn't like the busy design nor the bulkiness. I love the minimalism of this planner and its layout. Very intuitive. I'm going to need to get some stick on month tabs so I can quickly access months because right now its not as easy to get around as I'd like it to be. That would be a great extra option for this diary.

Exellent choice for flexibility!
I am very picky about my planners. I love that there is space for my goals, and future plans that I need to keep track of. The weekly edition has a wonderful layout with an hourly break down, allowing me to schedule my day and see where I have available time, instead of just listing them in a line like most planners. I am looking forward to using the budget section to keep track of my monthly bills and payments. The feel of the paper I am still getting used to, but it makes me very happy knowing that the paper is 120gms meaning that there is little to no bleed through depending on the pens that I use and how saturated I make the ink in the location. The one thing that I was disappointed with is that all of the monthly view are grouped together and all of the weekly views are grouped together. I am used to having a month, then the weeklies. Over all very happy with my choice, and I spent days looking over different options on amazon, in my local stores, and tried to have a bullet journal work for me as well!
