Great Purchase for Dorm Room
I bought this for my daughter's dorm room because she suffers joint pain and needs constant access to ice packs. I had it delivered directly to her dorm and it arrived in good shape with no problems. She's had it for a year and a half now and it is still working well, keeps her ice packs and frozen food frozen, doesn't tend to get too icy or need defrosting frequently, and is a great size. It about the same size and dimensions as the dorm-size fridge that came with the room and fits nicely under her desk. When we got this, it was a good price and solved a serious problem for us, but has the added advantage of storing frozen, microwaveable food too.

Exactly what I was looking for (with update)
My main refrigerator is on the smallish side (18.6 cubic ft) with most of the space limitations being on the freezer. I wanted a small freezer I could keep in my office to offload Digiorno's pizzas and some 1.5 qt ice cream containers. The Honeywell does the trick. The top rack can hold 4 of the Digiorno's 12x12 boxes and the bottom shelf can hold 2 1.5 ice cream quarts. The unit is noisy when first plugged in but is quiet when it comes up to temperature. I picked up a refurbished unit and feel it was well worth the price. Freezer took about 3-4 hours (in summer) to come to temperature. Can't comment on longevity but so far so good. Unit comes with tiny ice cube rack and ice scraper. I picked up a white unit and it is a cute little thing. I picked up a drip tray for the unit and found I needed to elevate the unit a bit to make sure I could get door clearance. The unit does have two feet with risers but they can only go up about a half of an inch so I needed to make my own mini stand. July 16 2024 - After almost 2 years of use, the compressor failed. So I received my answer on longevity. Like almost all appliances these days, these units are not built as well as those in the past. When it was working it was a nice unit that did its job. Not sure if other units will be better. I am guessing that most mini fridges built to a similar price point will likely have similar outcome.

A nice compact yet voluminous little office freezer.
I love having freezer capacity in my work office to keep ice, frozen meals, leftovers and frozen food I've purchased during the day to be taken home. This freezer is comparatively quiet and unobtrusive. It was surprising how much food can be held in such a small volume. It does seem to run most of the time, which was surprising. Presumably this is due to occasional opening of the door, which quickly dumps cold given the small interior volume. There is one shelf provided which permits an upper and lower storage area. There are no storage racks on the door itself. A thermostat is provided which not all small refrigerators/freezers have. The interior is white. Surface finish was good with no apparent manufacturing flaws. Defrosting is manual but rarely needed. Overall I am very pleased with this unit and would buy it again.

Does what it needs to do.
It seems to run perfectly well. I've only had it plugged in for about a week so far but, I haven't had any issues with it and it keeps everything frozen even when full. I haven't been able to put everything that I want in it but that's what happens when you only have 1.1 cubic feet to work with. I did get the most important stuff in there which was about 4 big plates of food, a quart of orange juice, 2 big bags and one small container of fruit. For the size and price, which was better than everyone else's at the time, I would say this is worth it. It also seems to run pretty well at higher room temperatures and is particularly quiet. I have it in my room for the time being where I have a heater running at night and it gets fairly warm during the day, and still I have no problems with it. If I do start to run into issues, I will update.

Roomier than I thought, sits on a small end table. Perfect size.
I use this for extra ice. It has room for my plastic ice container and 4 ice cube trays to boot. It's small and convenient, not too noisy either. I do have to defrost it every other week, but it's been very humid and opening and closing probably adds to it. It freezes well and defrosts fast. I just unplug it, let it sit for 10 minutes and use the little scraper it comes with and viola .. it's good to go.

Mini freezer
It serves it's purpose... my only issue is that it's too small. If I could afford to get a, "Normal size one, I wouldn't be living in a cramped apartment. "We'd be in a house ".

Perfect!
We live in an apartment. The freezers are always just too small. Bought this to provide some extra freezer space. Arrived with styrofoam around unit to absorb shipping bumps, seemed to work. Wiped it down and plugged it in. Soon after it started feeling cold. Put a cup of water inside, once it froze solid, I figured it was good to go. Runs very quiet, only a very soft hum which you need to be close to the freezer to hear...it's quiet! Tiny little ice cube tray included and makes tiny little ice cubes, so cute. Also included is a scraper if defrost becomes needed. Ice cream stays more frozen in this unit than in the apartment freezer! This puppy works! If you need more freezer space, get this!
