Roll and write trying to have a strong theme
Good: easy to learn rules, quick setup, solid core game Bad: runs quite long for what it is, high difficulty mixed with random dice rolling can be frustrating. Good game for travelling with, very portable and easy to play almost anywhere. The game takes a bit too long to play and the random dice rolls can be very frustrating on the harder maps. The dice mitigation options are very limited adding to the frustration. Not a perfect game but worth a try!

Great game for small or large groups
I play a lot of different type of board games and was looking for something different for over Christmas. This ended up being the go-to game for everyone and nothing else got played. It's a clever game that involves some strategy but isn't so complicated that non board gamers can't pick it up fairly quickly. The one minor downside is the instructions could be a little clearer. However, once you understand it, it's a lot easier to explain to someone else. The game instructions seem to make it more complicated than it is. It's fairly flexible game that you can play in a large group and spend time competing with others and trying to work out their different strategies. But it's just as good with only two players both working fairly individually on their own. The different maps are great as they each have a different twist on them and get a little bit more difficult as you move through them. Probably not for young children but should be easily managed preteen upwards. The artwork is gorgeous.

Great R&W with 100 one-sided pages. Easy to learn and fun to play.
There are loads of R&W games but this one is simple and fun. With 100 double-sided pages you can take two pages and the 5 dice on the train and not get bored. Bought 2 for friends and 1 for myself. Oct 2024: placed order for a birthday present of this game along with another item but both were not received. Wonder if it was the post or seller mistake, but it has put me right off buying more for Christmas. Will buy but from well known and trusty stores from now on.

No instructions in English!
There were no English instructions in the box, only in German, French, Spanish and Italian. We had to find a pdf of them online to play.

The game is rather straightforward; defeat all the monsters while collecting the most jewels. You throw some dice and choose your paths as well as defeating the enemies as quickly as possible. It comes with 4 different dubgeons that plays slightly different, a good game! One sheet contains two dungeons (back and front) so requires less lamination for those who want to improve the experience.

Spielart: Grundspiel Schwierigkeitsgrad: Familienspiel Spieleranzahl: 1-4 Spieler Spieldauer: 30-45 min Spielzeit Mechaniken: Dice Rolling Alterempfehlung: 12+ Lieferumfang: 5 Holzwürfel 2 Blöcke (ca. DIN A4-Format), je 50 Blatt 4 Bleistifte 1 Anleitung Worum geht es? Man muss also äußerst taktisch mit dem umgehen, was man bekommt.
