Victor Vran: Overkill Edition - PlayStation 4

First off, the challenges are pretty fun, and can be difficult if you want all of the rewards. The game has a lot diversity, flavor to it, and creativity. I'm surely glad to have bought the game, although I was awaiting reviews. 31 dollars with Prime, and it's better than most of my 50-60 dollar games. Right now my character looks like Kung Lao from Mortal Kombat and now glows blue from the dye. So, that's a plus. You get outfits that let you change your class or spec on the go. The outfits look awesome and you can get them all, I believe. The transmutation system is interesting, and a bit to experiment with.I'm really enjoying the types of enemies, the timed dodging, interesting bosses, all of the different types of weapons, and the maps. The central hub and teleport to challenge layout is well done. The challenge system itself lets you pick the difficulty pretty much.Your character can triple jump walls strategically to find treasures, or illustrationary walls with hidden secrets. Also, jump attacks and fast dodging is always fun.I'm not sure if the game is as large as Diablo, but this is a newer game for console players that don't play PC. Top of the line graphics for its genre, and runs extremely smooth. I'm about half way through the game and plan to finish the game, all challenges, and have good gear eventually. This game is co-op, so that is going to be fun as well. There seems to be plenty of stuff to do in this game. The weapon changing system is done by the d-pad and the stick, so you have to get used to that eventually. Online multiplayer is available to share bounties, treasure hunts, help one another, and have fun.A hidden gem at a competitive price, and one of the best in its genre.Update: I completed the game/challenges, and it was pretty fun. Diablo has a little more longevity, but it's still a pretty good deal imo. The monsters on hard mode will 2 shot you at level 60, 30 armor, and approximately 5600 hp. The gear and enemies scale to your level. You have to use every gear/weapon setup to complete challenges. Your character will have 2 spells to use, 3 weapon abilites, and up to 6-7 cards to supplement your fighting style. There is casual, normal, and hard mode.

It's PS5 compatible!To put it simply this is co op genius and it rocks. It is very few and far between far that game developers use this simple recipe to create a kick ass game play style and executed it so well. The new Overkill Edition has added hours of new content compared to its predecessor that was released as a Steam only exclusive. I couldn't be happier with the port to the PS4/PS5. Overall this game brings back a nostalgic felling of games from the past like Diablo and Baldur's Gate. A must buy for dungeon crawler fans.

This is an entertaining game that my husband and I can play together as a couch co-op. A little bit of platforming but not too much as I am generally not very good at that. You can play with just one player too if you like. Cool eq for both distance or up close fight styles. Change weapons and armor on the fly and there is an upgrade system. A good size game and an alternate world where Motorhead music plays and you briefly meet Lemmy. Lloyd Kaufman did behind the bar to give you direction. HA! It really can kill the hours. It's currently inexpensive and overall a pretty good time. Buy it.

We wanted a new game similar to Diablo. I was afraid to buy this one because of the low price point but decided to try it since the low price point also meant low risk.We are very happy with it! I'm surprised that it was so inexpensive. It does play similar to Diablo, but you will have to get used to some different button actions.We haven't completed the game yet; we are taking our time getting through it, and will probably okay it through several times.

For anyone who enjoys Diablo (or similar games), give this game a go. It has more interesting loot than Diablo in my opinion and a better story.

Boring repetitive combat and slows down ps4 slim, sound sometimes lowers itself during gameplay. Motorhead songs gets old after listening them over and over, there is only 3 or 4 songs.

This is not a AAA title. This is not a very good game.

Its clearly a Diablo 2/3 clone, but it does it very well. Controls good on the PS4. If you like Diablo/Sacred/Titan Quest, you ll like this.

先日、日本語版の発売が決定しました。その前日ワールドの１つをクリアしました。ジャンプができるハクスラアクションです。・3ワールド入っている・主人公は固定・同一セーブデータで別のワールドに切り替え可能・視点はクォータービューだが回転可能・ワールド内はマップクリア形式(何度でも挑めます)・各マップにはチャレンジとして5つのミッション(クリア後にもチャレンジ追加あり)・各マップにシークレットとして宝箱が配置されている(配置数はマップ画面で確認可能)・インベントリは無限か分かりませんが、持ちきれなくてアイテム整理という状態になったことはありません・スキルはスキルツリーはなく！攻撃武器によって固定2種類+デーモンパワー×2(デーモンパワーの種類も装備品で決定)・防具はほぼ無し・ドロップアイテムのレアリティはノーマル→アンコモン→レア→レジェンダリーだがレジェンダリーのドロップ率はかなり低い・武器等はベースを決めて特定の合成で強化可能・ベースを決めずに合成することで別の武器等にでき、レアリティが上がることがある(レジェンダリーにもなる)・アイテムはショートカットに2つ設定可能・トレジャーやウォンテッドとしてマップが複数指定され、マップ内で目的のトレジャーマップ？探しや討伐を行うものがある・HEXという難易度アップ可能な仕組みあり(onにしないとクリアできないチャレンジあり)・敵の種類、ボスは少ない・シナリオは短い北米版は日本語対応されていません。私のヒアリング能力ではナレーション等はさっぱり…理解不能でも雰囲気がよくジャンプできるハクスラ楽しいです。今のところバグらしきものにも遭遇していないですし、個人的には良質なハクスラだと思っています。
