Finally a Steamer that actually works
This isn’t our first attempt at finding a decent steam cleaner — far from it. Let me start by saying: this may not be the perfect choice, but it’s definitely the most functional one we've tried.First, the downsides:The unit is quite large — probably too bulky for a 1,000 sq ft apartment. Storing it is definitely a challenge. It’s not particularly convenient to use in tight spaces. Most attachments are designed for bigger areas and feel awkward in smaller rooms. There is no comfy handle, to make it easier to move around — especially on carpet. The mobility aspect really needs a design rethink. But here’s the thing: it works. And that alone sets it apart. Out of all the steamers we’ve tested (some failed on first use, others didn’t produce steam at all), this is the only one that delivers hot, consistent steam for up to 45 minutes — just like promised. We've used it twice so far and, fingers crossed 🤞, we'll use a lot more.So yes, it has its flaws. But it gets the job done — powerfully and reliably. And in the world of steamers, that’s a rare find. Five stars for performance, even if the design could use a few upgrades.

A cleaning tool to have around
For the price point of the machine this is a good addition for house, tools, and car cleaning application where steam can soften the muck and grime off the surface. the attachments are plenty and for different uses that can come into mind.Heats up fast, I'll say it takes around 6~8 minutes to be in pressure range to be use, keep in mind you have to purge the first trigger, it might SPIT so aim into a bucket (unless mopping or the surface can benefit from the spit). The size profile (MC1375) of the item plus the cord makes it easy to carry and store.I do recommend to only use deionized water, 1,400ml is the max capacity (MC1375) the run time it gives at MAX output is great for when you need to clean a whole bathroom with everything in it or 2 to 3 normal size bedroom floors with 2 passes (at MAX).Now here is my ADVICE; use this machine wearing Headphones that covers your ears and play music, reason why: it is loud when at max, it kind of annoy my ears since the steam launch with pressure out of it.Wear gloves because over time the handle becomes hot, not HOT to burn your hand off but enough to upset sensible hands.have a bucket near if you plan to use it in intervals, after a couple minutes of not using it. it will SPIT at the first trigger or after those rest intervals minutes, so purging aiming into the bucket is best, unless the surface been cleaned can benefit from the spit.

Great product, a few bad accessories.
I owned a McCulloch steam cleaner for a long time, and it is such a fantastic tool for cleaning ANY surface, knooks and crannies - floors, walls, vents, bathrooms, getting into all of the fixtures and corners and caulk, cars - you name it. Just bought the new 1385 as my old one was on its last legs. Many improvements - bigger tank with a pressure/volume meter, bigger mop head for floors. However, the accessories leave a lot to be desired - there is one that is a triangle with ineffective brushes, which can snap into another one but flimisily with more ineffective brushes, and no pads that fit that contraption. The worst though is the squeegee attachment. The old one had a very good squeegee, but they decided to make two tools out of this one - a squeegee on one side and a set of ineffective brushes on the other side, with the steam ports on that side. Why? It makes two bad tools in one. Not only can you not drag the squeegee down with steam on your window, but the squeegee is angled backwards so if you use the brush side to clean a window and then try to flip it over, the squeegee is angled opposite the way it should be, so you have to push the squeegee downwards instead of pulling it. Makes it impossible for tall windows. I tried to find video of how to use this contraption, and I see if I could find anyone that made a regular squeegee adaptor. This one tool I used about 10-15% of the time. Really disappointed with that.
