If you are a biker, remember that your shoe or boots mainly the left foot, when you shifter, will always be scratched at the top by friction. This pad protects your boot not allowing scratches or breakage, so it will extend the life of your footwear. I recommend it. Regards

Yes it is. But the velcro isnt strong enough, and it gets loose. At the end, is flying all over the place and you need to shift with your bare shoe. I needed to sewed it.

i believe it was designed in order to protect footwear from scratches and scrapes as you shift gears.
