Used this one a dog with collasping trachea. Used it until she was 16 years old. It helped alot. Pricey though.

My dog is caughing for nearly 2 years now. After first 2 week caugh session I went to the vet with him. They diagnosed heart murmur but they said the caugh has nothing to do with the heart because it is too early stage of the murmur. Maybe it is allergy or maybe his throat is irritated by something. No answer and the caugh still there. Went to the vet in 6 months. Stronger heart murmur but caugh ignored again. After nearly 2 years I finally decided to push for tests and see what is wrong with my baby. They did x-ray, blood test and took him for one day observation. I found out that his trachea is narrowed and in his age - he is 8 there is really nothing that can be done. Heart is affected by low air stream not going through the trachea properly. We got heart pills but caugh was still there. I even bought human robitussin (natural), gave him honey and some organic throat syrups but nothing until I found this medicine. For me it was AMAZING. My dog stopped caughing almost completely. His throat is not constantly itritated beacuse of persistent caugh and he has better and more normal life. I could not believe how great this product was. It does not interfere with other pills because it is natural. My dog does not like the taste but he is very picky in everything. Buy this for trachea collapse or trachea narrowing - you will not regret.

I have a 14 year old Pug with a collapsing trachea that I was desperately trying to find something to help with her coughing fits. I've read every single review I possible could on Throat Gold, both here on amazon and other websites, PRAYING that all the positive reviews weren't paid reviews and that this stuff really did work. I didn't want to have to put Squints down because of her obvious discomfort, she was not happy, none of us were sleeping because she'd cough all night, cough after drinking, cough after eating, cough after barking. Was horrible. I ordered this after milling it over for a day, got it in 2 days with Prime. By I'd say the 4th day, her cough had decreased significantly. Now, ~3 weeks later, she rarely coughs. Swear on everything this stuff has been a miracle for my Squints. For the folks it didn't work for, I feel HORRIBLE, because I know how desperate I was to find something for her and how much faith I was putting in a product I knew nothing about. It's $50, I'd pay 3 times that every month just knowing that she's happy and comfortable again, it's worth a try if you're vacillating, it's absolutely worth a try.

I give this to our calico cat who has asthma. Haven't noticed a big difference yet, but have had more dust with cleaning lately; so I think i need to wait a couple more weeks to see what happens. One thing I've noticed is she has been less congested. I have been using Lung Gold and Throat Gold together. She takes it very well when applied to her freeze dried fish treats.

Works well but my cats hated the taste of it.

Update: changing my 1 star to a 5 star because this seller really does stand behind their product. I hope this works out better for your furbabies than it did mine. My poor 16 year old Maltese has progressively been dealing with a collapsing trachea for years. In the last month it’s gotten so much worse. Recent trip to the vet only resulted in a prescription that did nothing. So I broke and purchased this medication, which is quite expensive only for it to not work as well. I’ve been giving this to him as recommended for the last almost week and no results at all.

This tincture really helps lessen my dog's persistent cough. I stopped using it for a while and noticed a marked increase in her coughing (frequency and duration of episodes). The product itself is 5 stars. The reason for my 3 star rating is because the company has changed from a glass to a plastic bottle. Not only will a tincture break down more readily when stored in plastic, the plastic can react with the tincture or leach dangerous chemicals over time. Thankfully I have a glass bottle to use instead but I am still a bit worried about how long the liquid has already been inside the plastic bottle.... Since the company sells many tinctures, I know they are well aware of the unnecessary risk of using plastic. Hoping they quickly reconsider their cost-saving decision in favor of a quality product.

This product worked outstanding my cat was a little standoffish about taking it but once I got it down him he started clearing up.

My Chihuahua has collapsed trachea and this, despite my doubts, has made a big difference to her Darth Vader impressions, much much reduced and will be buying again when this one is finished

I like the natural ingredients. I have a cat that coughs so I'm using this to support her throat. I mix it in with her food twice a day and there have been no side effects that I've noticed. The price is high but the bottle should last about 4 months so that's more than reasonable. I use a few Pet Wellbeing products and I've not been disappointed.

Of course, a dog or cat can develop a cough with throat discomfort and although remedies like this one are not necessarily a cure they do help by providing some relief. As a dog parent I don’t want to feel helpless when my dog needs support and I am so thankful for Pet WellBeing for developing holistic treatments like this one. Although the product is labelled with a cat picture the description does also refer to dogs. I contacted Pet WellBeing about this and they confirmed their products whether labelled for dogs or cats contain the exact same soothing ingredients. This 4 oz bottle seems expensive, but if it helps me avoid a trip to the Vet for minor ailments it is worth the price.
