Great deal on a very good knife
This knife is well designed, comfortable to use and surprisingly light for its size. It takes and holds an edge well and sends very durable. I am going to buy the 8-inch version as well for better control doing general cutting and chopping.

My go to knives
I gave it 1 star off because the handle is not the best looking but I paid for what I got. Other than that, this is a fantastic knife at this price point. I however do not use this knive much since I found the 8 inch is more suited for me.These knives are extremely shapes and really does make a big difference. I did a lot of research priority the purchase and this is also recommended by ATK. If you want a reliable knife at a reasonable price, I would go for the 8 inch model. I also bought their boning knife and can not praise it enough. The only thing missing are knife/blade guards. These knives are too sharp to be without safty guards and they also protect your knives.

Be careful this baby is sharp!!!!
Best knife I have ever owned! I’m just hoping that I get to keep the tip of my thumb. It is currently superglued into place. Definitely recommend buying a chain mail glove to go with this bad boy.

Perfect tool
A little blade-heavy as far as balance goes (most knives this big are!), but it's the perfect tool for lettuce and cabbage, pumpkins, melons, big pineapples. Great as a slicer too. Nice fit and finish. Good steel that's easy to sharpen and stays sharp for a long time. Would easily become a big-handed chef's go-to knife for smaller jobs too, I suspect.
