What can I say?It worked.
First time exploring Mycology. I accidentally injected in the wrong section. That’s how new I am. I did not use the self healing port because I didn’t realize what it looked like. The instructions weren’t clear. That’s how new I am though. Fortunately I was sterile and kept a hepa going. After realizing what I did, I sterilized 2 ziplock bags, wearing gloves and n95, and transferred it to an even tighter airtight container. Ran some o3 and 3 days later, it’s going.Either I was able to somehow salvage it, or it’s infected and I don’t yet know what that looks like. Perhaps these mushrooms are more forgiving or I have the variety wrong lol. I think they are cremini which are supposed to be hard to grow. This is a fun summer project though so if it fails it fails. I’m on day 7 and it seems to not be failing.Or perhaps it’s the kit itself making the spawn happy.

Excellent!
The bag is a little smaller than what I had expected, but it certainly did the job! The mycelium took to the grain in this bag very well, and seem to colonize the grain very very quickly. You can’t go wrong with this bag. This is the one you want.!

Fastest to colonize but NOT all-in-one grow bag
Updated review: I have changed my perspective somewhat with this type of very small unicorn bag for an all in one mushroom bag.I have never actually successfully fruited any all in one bag in the bag, the only way I was able to fruit the mushrooms was to transfer to a monotub once the drain and substrate were fully colonized. By this time, The substrate and grain were completely dry so the mushrooms had nothing else to drink. I had to use over-field capacity substrate to revive the dried out mycelium cake, which successfully allowed the mushrooms to fruit. So initially I gave this seller 2 stars because I couldn't fruit in the bag. Truth is I've never fruited in the bigger bags either. You are way better off just getting a mono tub and transferring it to the mono tub. Your yields will be bigger and the mycelium can breathe easier. Now if you're going to do this you might as well just get a grain bag separately and then mixed with substrate when you transfer to a tub. I change my review to four stars because the seller made things right, great customer service.I bought several different all in one grow bag brands to compare their performance. The initial 2 were innoculated with the same strain/batch of spores. Both never got contamination. these colonized very fast, However instructions say that to fruit you have to put into a monotub, meaning it's not an all-in-one grow bag because I have to buy a monotub now. This is because the unicorn bag that it comes with is very tiny. But the contents are legit and the mycelium love it.Recommended only if you already have a monotub /fruiting chamber set up and not if you are looking for all in one grow bag.

Worked beautifully!
These colonized fast and easy. Already growing fruits! Would definitely recommend to newbies as it’s super easy to get started.

look elsewhere - little success & bacteria
Compared with others that ive used, these did not do very well. I got 4.1 may be doing okay... time will tell... but Im fighting with the grain fully spawning, and just cast to bin (early).2 are contaminated, and ended up with Wet Spot/Sour Rot - Bacillus sp1 didn't spawn at all.

Good little all in one. Perfect for a 1st time.
The media could not be loaded. Thought I ordered a 5lb bag. Probably my own mistake as I had looked at so many. But to my surprise this small little bag did its thing! And quickly. Great for someone who may be just starting their mycology interest.

Maybe seal better next time?
The item is significantly smaller compared with the other 5 bags I bought from different sellers. The mycelium occupied the bottom layer fine. But later when I pinched around the bag (to mix the grain with whatever is above), I found a half-inch opening at the top seal. Not sure if I torned it by messing with the bag, or it had been like that from the beginning (I did the same piching to the other 5 bags, and none of them broke). I immediately sealed the opening with microtape, but it sadly didn't save it. The the stuff became grey, and died (I think) after 2 tiny mushrooms buds.

Very small bag
I wish I would take the time to read descriptions, I thought I ordered a “big” bag. This thing is about the size of a small coffee bag. I will inoculate with spores and update after. Looks good so far. No signs of contamination at delivery. Substrate is not dry. I ordered some booming acres bags for the same price with 4x’s the volume of grain and substrate.
