I've got limited mobility, bought this to run around without having to drive. It let's me sit or stand as needed to keep comfortable. Yes it will reach 50mph! I'm 200lbs and usually get up to 45mph. If you are lighter, 50mph is not a problem. If you go at top speed, you won't make near the distance as you do driving at 25mph. This has the speed to get across town quickly and is compact enough to take anywhere. Wear a helmet if you value your brain.

The media could not be loaded.  The scooter has the throttle too close to the brake handle , making it unsafe. It does not go the distance it promises on one charge. I bought it with a 30 day return if not satisfied. I was not satisfied and contacted Amazon before the 30 days to return it. Seller has being giving me the run around. After several times calling Amazon. Seller contacted me saying it would take item back. I had to pay the return and that I would get back 30 to 50% of what I paid. I only want to return the scooter and get all my money back.
