I’ve been with a trainer about 7 months. He recommended getting grips since my weight load is gradually getting heavier. I usually go for the best, so I got the same brand he uses. My wrist is just under 6-inches, so got an XS (if I had the opportunity to try them on first, I would have probably gone with size small). The grips are very snug and stiff, but I expect the stiffness to get better over time. As far as usefulness, without the grips I was 85 lb RDL; with the grips, I jumped to 115 lb and the same reps with the first use of the grips. No more dropping out because my fingertips can’t hold the weight. Am 100% happy with this purchase!

I used them mainly when I did RDL's and sometimes rows. I found it a little tricky to get the bar where I wanted in my hand with these. They felt fairly comfortable around the wrist though and didn't feel like they'd slide off with any amount of weight really. I found it really tough to keep my fingertips on the black strap part once my hands got sweaty though. If you combine these with something like Tourna Grip Rx grip enhancer to keep your hands dry or chalk they might work. I ended up doing my sets with paper towels on my hand over using these. Towels don't help the grip part but I guess sweaty hands were a bigger problem for me personally. Now I use the cheap, about foot-long, straps which work better for me.

These grips make all the difference with my deadlifting. I won't lift without them now. I love them, and my clients love them, too.

I've been able to lift so much more weight now that I own these. Make sure you have the right size though.

Expensive. I only enjoy using them for deadlifts and sometimes during dumbbell lunges....
