Not much to say, it works.
Not much to say. It works. It drys my 3d printing chamber. Keeps the humidity at 10% in a 60% room. I haven't tried to dry it when it gets saturated yet, but I have little reason to doubt that it will be a problem.

Works as expected
Great for use with Bambu lab ams to keep filament dry. My ams has not gone above 10% humidity.

It came sealed in airtight container. It weights 2 lbs in including the container.
The media could not be loaded. I liked it came shipped in a sealed clear container. I ordered from another company few weeks ago and it came with lid off and all my product spilt in bag no seal. So I love the fact this company sealed their product. I am using this product as a barrier for bed bug protection. I grinded it up in my two dollar yard sale grinder making a fine powder it gets dusty so I was careful not to breath it in. I lined it along walls and bottoms of dressers and beds. I lined the living room and entry ways. So far I have not seen one bug of any kind. I think it's working for one of my diy treatments. I'm going to make some dryer sheets bags to pack some silicone beads in to throw in my clothes vaccum bags and husband's shoes. I also sprinkled some on my matress before I put an encasement on it. It's working for what I wanted it to do. So I reccomed it for this purpose. It's such a light powder I mixed some baking soda in it for weight. I will be purchasing this excat product again once I run out.

Whatever you do, don't spill them
This has been great. I'm getting into 3d printing and one of the biggest problems is moisture damaging filament. I bought this to use to remove the moisture from the storage container after drying the filament to fight hygroscopic attack. It works great. I printed some spool inserts and poured them in and haven't had any problems with moisture since. Don't make the same mistake that I made. Fill them over a tub. I spilled what sounded to be a few beads but has been growing ever since releasing into the wilds of my house. I think they are breeding around the furniture. Looks like I never have to buy more. lol. If you have ever dealt with the disaster that results from a busted bean bag chair and the hellscape that is cleanup, you'll understand the concept. At least these are useful. All joking aside, I will definitely buy again, probably in a bigger size.

These are too large for dainty flowers.
I’m using this to dry flowers to use in resin. I have to lay my small flowers on top because the beads are too large to bury the dainty flowers.

Make your own packets with tea filters and a curling iron to heat seal the packets!
I'm using these for a dry box for 3D printing filaments. My old rechargeable desiccant packs were struggling to maintain 15% humidity. I think it's actually because I overheated them a while back when drying them ... anyways when I put these new beads in the humidity dropped crazy fast. from like 22% to 6% in around an hr and has just kept going down since then (it's probably slowed down because it's starting to actually pull water out of the filament. Not like you can't buy this stuff pre packaged but it's cheaper to buy in bulk, loose. I had a hard time finding sachets of any kind that would work and finally determined that I could just make my own packets with tea filters and a curling iron to heat seal the packets. they're not super durable - if anyone has a better idea, i'm all ears, but this works great - i used to have them in the box loose and every time i need to dry them it was such a hassle. anyways, I have a food dehydrator now that i'll probably use instead of the oven / microwave to prevent over heating and possible contamination. really like the non-color changing as hopefully there are fewer chemicals (although i gather the orange kind is safe). since i have a humidity sensor as the primary way to determine when it's time to recharge, there's no real need for color changing beads - and these are cheaper. according to the manufacture the non-color changing off the best performance. we'll see!

It's a desiccant!!!
Within hours of opening the 64 jugs I'd ordered and pouring the beads out upon our lawn, we could literally hear the top soil making that almost imperceptible crackling sound one hears when taking a large drag off a just lit, but stale dry cigarette. By daybreak, every blade of grass had faded to a pale green, and was so dry that a High Fire Risk alert was posted for all of the county. Not only was our lawn as stiff & crispy as tumbleweed might be after a decades long drought, the humidity level of the entire mid Atlantic states proper had dropped significantly. Within a couple days, every beast of the field suffered with profound symptoms of dehydration, and those that shed their mortal coil due to intense desiccation quickly turned to dust, none showing a single sign of decay one would normally expect.UPDATE: it's been 40 days and 40 nights since my fateful decision to use these beads to control the excess moisture that used to plague our property. Over the course of the ensuing weeks, virtually every crop has failed, and every form of wildlife that was unfortunate enough to not participate in the mass exodus from this region of the continent has expired. If I could give this product more than 5 stars, I most certainly would. May God have mercy on my soul.In all seriousness, though, the 1 star ratings on this product are silly. The buyers were clearly under the impression they were buying a totally different product and should probably be flogged for costing this company what should be a stellar 5 star rating because of their feckless ineptitude in refusing to read the product description. FFS, it's a DESICCANT!!!

Does what it says… I guess.
I got this know knowing how much 1.9 lbs if silica translated to in volume. But that jug that holds them looks like a half gallon jug I have in my shop filled with kitty litter. I figure it probably is the same size. Nope… I was wrong. I feel like I got Temued. It’s a quart. I guess it says so if you zoom in on the image, but I didn’t. So… it feels like a lot of money for a quart sized bottle of beads.
