I cut few lbs of onion in a matter of time with this slicer. It’s very good. With the gloves there is less chance to slice your finger.

East y to use, comes with hand protecting glove which fit good, cuts well and good design on the leg stand feature. I bought it to slice cut onions which I always cut my fingers using the traditional knife blade method. Good quality materials used in make it. I would buy it again.

After reading lots of reviews, I chose this mandoline to replace the very old, broken one I had. The main reason we wanted it was to slice nice, even slices of food for our dehydrator. This works very well for that! I did find the pusher rather awkward and bulky to use, and just used my gloved hand for holding the food. My son tried to use the glove, found it way too small, and used the pusher; he managed to slice a fingertip anyway. Folks, it's better to not slice all the food up than to lose a fingertip! The top part of the slicer is loose, for cleaning, I assume; so I held it down as I sliced. It's a little irritating, but not a big deal.

I was VERY disappointed in this product. I was much too difficult for me to use. And it failed to cut my cooked chicken breast, so I was unable to use it altogether. I need to return it, but I am in the middle of a very major lifetime move and not sure it is still returnable.

Pros: Incredibly sharp Cons: Incredibly sharp Being an idiot, I decided to forgo any of the supplied PPE, precautions and instructions and just start slicing. I was happily slicing a delicious yellow squash when suddenly I added a secret ingredient, MY HUMAN BLOOD AND FLESH!!!!! I can confirm this blade is able to remove 1mm of your middle finger with ease. Im also certain that if you were to adjust the mandolin to a deeper setting it would most likely remove that increment as well. You need only to look away for a moment! My advice to anyone who has an interest in ratatouille, buy this and be careful! Use the supplied gloves and guard. P.S. I would include pictures buy they must violate amazon tos.

I love this slicer it is very very sharp you must wear the gloves because it will cut you, but works excellent

It's not a good mandolin slicer, but it does slice. The material is thin and flimsy. If I had a 2nd chance, I would not waste my money on this one.

Everything needed is in the box. Had a try at very thinly sliced potatoes, impressive results

Not easy to use not safe and quality in back of cupboard was not sure if I could return it .. or how no information inside. 1 star because I couldn't submit 0stars!!!!!

Found it quite difficult to put together and would remain so when dismantling for washing. Although it may be an efficient tool, it is too fiddly so would not use it as too time consuming to bother. Tried to send it back but had extreme difficulty with the Chinese supplier who refused to provide a refund unless I gave them a more favourable review. But Amazon came up trumps and sorted the repayment out for me. Well done Amazon.

Julienne blades missing.

Tried it for the first time slicing zucchini length wise. After adjusting the blade height for the thickness I wanted, it worked perfectly. It's good that you can cut the food in rounds or lengths. I found the cleaning instructions were not very clear about how to pull out the blades though. If they had included some images that would help a lot.
