This is a good lens for simple digital photos. Works well with my Nikon 3300 and does the job for my real estate photos!

CHEAT! The VR feature helps me get sharp shots over a greater light range than expected. I'd never had a VR lens so did not know what to expect. I recently purchased a used D3300 body so I could shoot video and use my D700 lenses. Well, I'd seen how economical these "kit" lenses are, so thought I'd try one. It helps so much I'm rethinking my D700 lenses and upgrading some to VR! Really, this lens is so sharp its price makes me think Nikons other lenses are overpriced. For quick grab shooting, the combo of D3300 and this lens will very likely keep the D700 in the bag much of the time! I really appreciate the smaller size and way lower weight for hiking.

the auto focus does not work on a D 7500 in fact on auto the camera does not even recognize the lens is attached . it you put the camera on M then the shutter will work , but you have to focus the lens manually , and the fucus ring is at the very end of the lens . so what is the point ? i purchased this on amazon , hoping the product would be up to a standard . but the lens didn't meet any standard do not buy for this vendor , as the same problem has been repeated with other

I bought a D-5600 body and kept the lens from my D-3400 ( I gave it to my girlfriend) but I was short a lens so I bought this one It works fine and my girlfriend is happy and that's the way I like it

Wanted a lens for close-up pet photography for my Nikon D7500 - love it! Above is a couple sample pictures of my crazy dogs (untouched). Great for a beginner like me. The stability feature is a must with pets. Bought the lens from a third party seller (Alex Ramos) and he was wonderful! Sent a lens hood too for free! Very, very thankful. However, Canada post gets one star for delivery......

L'objectif en lui-même est d'une propreté irréprochable. L'intérieur du cache frontal trahis cependant une utilisation passée. Rien qui ne soit nettoyable. Plus réactif que le premier, un peu plus de piqué. La bague de mise au point n'est pas mécaniquement reliée aux lentilles, c'est une commande électronique sans butée, ça peut être déstabilisant pour une première fois avec ce type de bague. La stabilisation n'est pas débrayable mais à le bon goût de ne pas bouger quand l'appareil est sur trépied, c'est important à noter pour l'astrophoto.
