RV Retirement in the 21st Century: How to Live and Travel in a Recreational Vehicle

The book was recently updated and is an excellent overview of the many aspects one will confront when living in an RV year-round, approximately half-time, or somewhere in between. Depending on the reader's situation, one may need to pursue one or more of the author's many references for additional information at the end of each chapter, but the author has given a good introduction (or more) to all the different aspects of living in an RV for extended periods of time each year. I am very pleased that I acquired this book because of the wealth of information and references it contains. At worst the book gives one an excellent background for profitably viewing the many, many RVing-related videos on YouTube. I have watched many of the videos available and I am still very pleased to have read the book and have it as a resource.

This book was well written with information for those considering buying a RV and becoming a part-timer or full timer. Jane will answer many questions and provide an excellent foundation of RV knowledge. She also includes many RV websites and references for continued education. I encourage you to enjoy her book.

Written from the perspective of a retired couple which is just what we wanted to know about. Lots of good check lists from planning and budgeting to hitting the road. Great references for websites and other books. Will refer back to it many times I suspect before we finally get to go on the road. Best book we've read on getting ready to full time RV.

Great resource. All is basics one needs to know to start RVing and lots of links to online resources. Have fun on the road.

Bought this for my wife, and she loves it. It has a lot of great information contained in it, and is easy to read.

Very educational, learned a lot of things about RVing that we never even considered! Book has a wealth of information well written and informative. Anyone considering the RV lifestyle, this is a must read. Could have had a bit more facts, but really, overall a good start for anyone wanting to find information and maybe get a feel for the subject before making any major (expensive) decisions.

This book showed me that I didn't have to choose . . I could have my retirement, and travel with my family. Worthwhile planning guide for someone looking to RV themselves.

Kenny provides a well-organized introduction to the RV life--everything from selecting an RV to how to get your mail on the road to how to clean the black water tank. She provides substantial helpful online resources at the end of each chapter, as well as an index to these resources. There is also a helpful glossary of rv related terms.
