Q: Are the backup iron sights adjustable for windage and/or elevation?

nope, also i would hardly even consider them backup sites. threre's just a small peep bolted to the rear of the optic, off to the side, and a post on the front. given you a roughly 4-5" site radius (with your muzzle a foot or more away). the RMR is a far better "closer then needing 4X" back up site (although it is oddly high to get any sort of cheek weld to use it comfortably. this is an acog, no batteries needed, always works and youve got ten years for night use before the tritium wears out. i shoot every week and beat the crap out of my guns (sometimes intentionally) with training .but i have yet to break it and need the BUIS. if you're that concerned about needing backup sites, (say youre a cop or a private contractor that takes shrapnel through the glass on the acog, be real, the keyboard warriors will NEVER be able to break an acog) then get a set of offset canted BUIS with a legit site radius. (regular top mount ones will not work unless you remove the acog. it NEEDS to be mounted as far back as you can because the eye relief is almost nothing. so if you use flip us sights, the acog would have to be mounted too far forward to work.

The acog uses fiber optics and tritium no batteries and the reticle is always there No switches or buttons Just windage and elevation adjustments Some acogs are battery operated and can be turned on and off

look up larue quick release mounts.. have 2 and its great. but there are other makers that make mounts

Q: Will this optic work with a 300 blackout?

It will work, however it will require some conversions for distance drop.. it’s meant and marked for the drop on 556
