Nordic Ware Gingerbread House Duet Pan

The media could not be loaded. I was hoping to love this and wasn't disappointed . We have just tried the recipe and yum. Cakes came out of pan easily. 1 recipe makes 4 cakes. I followed the directions exact to oiling and flouring the pan before adding batter. The flour made it look like snow. I'm eager to try other recipes and a cake recipe I make for gifts to see how they turn out. They pretty with out decorations honestly. Little drizzle of icing and powdered sugar and they beautiful. I may just have to buy the bigger house too! I was concerned for washing (bc no dishwasher) but i used a soft bottle brush and had no problems.

Decided to try this as a replacement for gingerbread house kits-which I hate- and I was not disappointed! The cakes came out SO adorable and my kids loved decorating them. Best part is they were actually edible!!!!! Will be using these for years to come

We used these for my son's birthday party. He wanted to make gingerbread houses, but I didn't want to deal with the cookies/graham crackers. Most kids that I know don't like actual gingerbread, so we used (for those of you in Texas) the HEB Pound Cake mix. It worked great and was really yummy. Just make sure to use a good coating spray (we used Costco; Crisco brand did not work). The kids and parents loved these adorable houses, and they were easier to decorate than cookies or graham crackers. I look forward to using these molds for our holiday baking tradition for years to come! They seem to be of good quality.

You can’t go wrong with this adorable gingerbread cake form. I made lemon pound cake and had no issues with sticking.

I have these pans, the gingerbread house and the little village. I know they will come out perfect as long as I follow the baking instructions. After all, these things are pretty expensive, so why not treat them with the respect your hard-earned money deserves? My first pan came from a thrift store and will last for a good long time. So will these.
