The solder points are naturally very small, but that’s not a strike against the design of this product at all. Just be careful and melt the solder to the wires first, let harden, then attach them to the PCB. This replacement board works on the original Studio headphones as well as the Studio2. If you’re attempting this fix in the first place, you don’t need me to explain how to make it work in the original Studio headphones. YouTube and a volt/ohm meter is all you need to figure it out. I’m very satisfied with the quality and value, and the fact that my Beats charge again.

I was at a thrift store recently and found a complete in box pair of Beats studio 2s. They aren't all that valuable these days, but it really cheap so I spent a couple bucks and took them home only to find they would not charge. Apparently, this kind of breakage is common for these headphones.Well, as to not lose my good deal, I researched repairs and found it's as fairly simple repair if you're handy with a soldering iron and have a replacement part. That where this charging port replacement came in. I bought it specifically to fox my Beats headphones and when I was done, it fixed my beats headphones.I didn't use the enclosed tools because I had my own. It's nice they include them, but I think most people doing this kind of repair are going to have their own tools already.Bottom line: With a little soldering skill, this 10 dollar part will fix your headphones. You can''t really ask for more than that.

My sons wireless beats were not charging and after going online and doing some research. I found that this is the piece that messes up. It's not that hard replaces part. You do have to have some common sense. It was pretty easy. And after I replaced part. Beats started charging full and working again. Better this than buying whole new headphones.

The port fit perfectly in my headphones.I can now charge them without having to tape the cord to them.It is a little difficult to install unless you really are comfortable with soldering very small circuit boards and very fine wires

I bought those dumpy looking beats off the Goodwill website. They were untested but promising. When I tested them, they would not charge. This replacement product worked. It was easy to soder and allowed me to use the headphones like new.
