I gotta be honest. Secret Aardvark is probably the most overhyped hot sauce I ever tried. I heard so many people talk about how good it was. When I tried it though, I was pretty disapointed. I guess if all you've ever tried was like tabasco sauce or Frank's, it might seem good but if you're more of a connoisseur, then Secret Aardvark is lacking. I was a little worried about the reaper sauce, but I decided to give it a try. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised. Great sauce! Really nice flavor that pairs well with most things. A suprising amount of heat too! I saw some people say it wasn't hot enough for reaper, so I thought it would be very tame like their normal sauces. Not so! Its got a very nice kick! Its not crazy but its got good heat. I will buy this sauce again. I really want to try the scorpion one now!

Great hot sauce that has a strong kick but not so spicy that you can’t enjoy it. Goes great with Mexican, Tex-mex, and really anything that habanero can compliment.

Bought this because it was recommended, too spicey for me. Great flavor to spicey.

As a self proclaimed Sauce Queen, this one is a definite 5 stars. It is not too spicy. The flavor is robust and smoky without burning your tastebuds. The perfect accompaniment to tacos and quesadillas. Or add it to mayo for a sandwich kick and your favorite salad dressing. The possibilities are endless!

Some guy said the scorpion flavor is too hot for anybody not from Louisiana. Well, I'm from Mississippi and id call it pleasantly spicy. There's no painful heat but there is a nice acidic kick. It's very flavorful and I can't think of much I wouldn't put this on. It reminds me of Taco Bell hot sauces but more flavorful and hotter than they would probably sell in stores. I wonder if this company is their supplier since they do have a promotion going on.

Pretty much tastes like what's left in one the cans of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce after you've used the chipotles. You could absolutely grab a can of those, throw it in a blender, and end up with a similar sauce. Add some sauteed onions and garlic and chopped fresh herbs and you'd be in a different league. Sadly, this is by far the best of the 4 sauces by this company I have tried. I'll probably finish this bottle. The others went into the trash.

Full-disclosure: I am neither a big fan of nor am I tolerant of hot foods (note I said hot, not spicy; spicy in my mind is a misused term). I don't even like jalapenos (despite being in the southwest). So when I first tried this, I didn't really like it much. I have since become addicted. I put it anywhere I would normally put BBQ sauce. I've put it in brisket. I've dabbed a bit in a breakfast taco. I've put it in a burger. It has a wonderful flavor along with the "heat". Make no mistake there's a kick there (which your rating of which will largely be geographically subjective), but the kick isn't too bad at all and the flavor is awesome.
