Works Works Works!
Works amazingly well.Had a kitchen sink clogged and evacuating very slowly for weeks and no chemical nor plunger was working.Used this snake until I arrived at a point where it stopped coming own the pipe. Followed instructions (using the lever etc..) and repeat the operations 3 times to eventually go through.Messy and smelly but pipe now clear and water evacuating perfectly. This is the best peice of tool you can get to avoid expensive and useless plumber who will come with a wet vacum way before coming back with a snake. For the price you cannot go wrong. Quality seems fine. Not te sturdiest but does the job greatly.

It helped me a lot and saved me from having to visit the plumber. Very easy to use. Good quality materials. I recommend!

May do the job, have to wait for limescale blockage to find out for sure.
Looks like it could do the job, although have tried to navigate it around a U-bend but not able to navigate it. Going to have to wait until I have limescale build up then have the unavoidable task of removing the U-bend in a very confined space.

Useless.
I beleive we have a partial block of the drainpipe in the bathroom, so went for this product. Useless.Unable to feed it round the sink U-bend as it doesnt flex enough.as expect, the end wouldnt fit in the bath plug hole.Went for feeding it through the toilet and after a couple of attempts felt like it was in the drainpipe (about 5ft fed), but after turning it a number of rotations, i soon found out it was just tying up around itself and only got about 1ft down the pipework.will be retuning it for refund as it's just not suitable for purpose.

Easier with two people
Like someone else's review, I never write them and was a little apprehensive on so many poor reviews, god knows what they were using it on. My plastic waste pipe running from the kitchen sink behind fitted cabinets consists of four 90 degrees bends. I couldn't shift the blockage with a plunger and what made it harder was a double sink. I googled to see what could help and came across this gadget. Forget the bad reviews I.e. it goes rusty etc but thought this was my last resort for a reasonable price before I would have to pay for a professional. Watch the video on this. I got the wife to do the winding with around a meter each time while I pushed a pulled a little until it became to short and then pulled out another meter to feed in. I did pull it all the way out a couple of times and started again. It did drag out a load of crap. We did this from both ends. It didn't get all the way through but certainly loosend the blockage. I put the u bend back together after around an hour's work and finished of with the plunger. Couldn't believe the muck that came out.Absolutely brilliant bit of kit, although it takes a bit of work. So, just go a head and buy it, a no brainer.

Works perfectly!
I had a blockage in my drain system between my kitchen & bathroom (I live in a one floor flat), and I had tried caustic soda numerous times down both kitchen and bathroom plug holes as well as later opening up the P trap under the kitchen sink to inspect if the blockage was there with no luck.I'd seen some videos online of people using the drain snake, and so bought it as a last ditch effort to solve the problem before calling a plumber. I didn't realise it also came with a shorter drain unblocker and gloves too, which is a good first option, although this just showed me that the problem was further down the pipeline. Within 15 minutes of it arriving, I had completely cleared the blockage using the drain snake! It worked perfectly, and using the little tutorial video, I knew the techniques for getting round bends in the pipe and unblocking the clog.I highly recommend trying this product if you have tried other drain clearing options (such as caustic soda/P trap inspection) and they haven't worked. It's much better at clearing blockages further down the pipeline that other liquid products can't reach.

Serious Blockage in kitchen drainage
Had a serious clog in the kitchen drainage pipe.Pulled a full 7 meters and turned at least 4 90 degrees and solved the problem. A useful tool. Save me 70 pounds. Better use with two people as it is heavy and a bit hard to use alone.
