Everything I Hoped For
I had the Jet which I really liked actually, despite the bad reviews. I have a Camvac 90L high pressure system and finally got the nanomax filter upgrades for the motors. Not having a three stage filter system on the machine anymore, I needed something better at stopping the fine dust from reaching the extractor itself. I didn’t want to go cheap and Oneida has a good name and are known for quality products. After putting it through its paces for a couple months and opening the Camvac, I was very pleasantly surprised at the amount of fine dust getting through. It was next to nothing. I have helical blades in the planer and jointer and I was doing a lot of dados on the router table, all of which creates fine dust. I’m extremely happy with the build quality, there’s no fear of the high pressure collapsing the unit. Beyond that, the performance is actually better than my expectations. I reworked my entire ducting system and location of the extractor and cyclone, so I’m very glad that all the work was worth it. It would’ve been a shame to do all that and get the same results as the jet. I wasn’t overly concerned with loss of suction due to it being a larger unit than the Jet, but any worry I did have wasn’t warranted. I’m sure it has more to do with the high pressure system, regular collectors I know suffer more

Fantastic. Leaves filter clean, maintains High CFM/airflow.
Performs even better than I expected. I've had other cyclones, but the decrease in CFM and amount of particulate that they let through was less than ideal. The Super Dust Deputy, however, performs excellently. The decrease in CFM was negligible, and it doesn't allow any particulate past, which leaves my filter clean (which also means a more consistent CFM/suction because the air more easily escapes through a clean filter). I cannot recommend this enough, and, In my opinion is well worth the price of admission.

Works perfect!
I added this cyclone to a Delta dust collector I purchased in the early 90's. The dust collector always performed well, but the dust bag would fill with chips at the same rate as the barrel would fill. This was always annoying since I was emptying the bag every hour at times. The restricted air flow from the chip filled bag had a big impact on the draw at the machine where the chips were being collected. I did some research on cyclones and thought this looked like a simple unit to add to the dust collector. After making some adapter rings and re-configuring the piping to the dust collector, the installation was complete. Now, every chip enters the barrel and just a minimal amount of dust ends up in the bag. A simple band clamp keeps the cyclone discharge sealed to the drum lid. The entire unit is suspended from the joists above, so emptying the barrel is quick and easy. The draw at each machine is incredible since the air can exhaust freely through the unrestricted bag. It works perfect and I would highly recommend this product!

Not cheap but worth it
The media could not be loaded. Like many other people said , it is not Cheap but worth it, works really efficient, I used it for the harbor freight dust collector with upgraded impeller , and changed it to two stage system and mounted it on the wall, the install of the cyclone itself is very easy and straightforward, in the package it come will seal tape, it kind of thick, and made a big gap on the area that no seal tape, so I had to make a plate from 1/4 plywood at the bottom I hope it come with a plate type seal. On the top I have a friend helped me printed the adapter using a 3D printer. I did a test run, there are barely any thing goes to the bucket, most of the chips goes to the drum. The stuff itself packed very well, fit the hose and other components very well, I did not use the manual. But the template for the bottom mount helped me when drilling holes on the plywood. The reason I give 4 stars is just because of the cost and the seal tape, I would rate it 5 star if it come with a rubber plate seal with pre-made hole

Worth it
This thing works. I was using s filter every year. At $200 it adds up. This takes the majority of debris and is easy to empty

Great cyclone separator
This is one cyclone separator at a reasonable price that actually works.

Mounted to a small garbage can. Could use a bit more than a 1HP dust collector vacuum
Works great and come pre-assembled with gaskets etc. I cut out a lid for a 10-15 gallon galvanized trash can and mounted this to it. Sealed the list with a little bit of door jamb weather stripping and all seems good. Glad to have this vs. breathing all the dust this captures.

Doesn't Suck!
The media could not be loaded. I was tired of all the fine dust throughout my shop. Even wearing a mask, it seemed that I was still inhaling dust. After much research, I purchased a dust collection vacuum system but it was not perfect. Again more & more & more ... research I realized I needed a cyclone. I could have made one or purchased a cheaper version but decided to go with a more reliable, tested system, the Oneida Air Systems.I have not regretted it. This system is going on its second year and it capture an amazing amount of sawdust. I added a second homemade cyclone and the final exhaust end is outside the building which never has any dust coming out.The Oneida Air Systems Super Dust Deputy Lightweight 4/5 does an amazing job! It is a rather large device easy to install but does require some sort of collection system and of course a vacuum. I used a plastic barrel and a makeshift wood top/shelf to support the cyclone. The barrel drops down so that it can be emptied. The duct tape was not needed, but my OCD made me secure and possible leaks.I would recommend this product and purchase again if needed.
