A Seaweed Snack For Those Looking For A Healthier Alternative
I've eaten a lot of seaweed snacks, variations of all types. This product is part of Amazon's line of food brands. I love these types of snacks because they are like potato chips from the ocean. They should be salty (obviously), with a nice crisp texture. Those are really the two requirements for me for a great seaweed snack.— SEA SALT FLAVOR —How does this Wickedly Prime version compare? Firstly, I opened it up and found flat looking sheets with very little texture. It's like eating flat chips (gimme ridges and bumps!). Second, I noticed, "Where is the salt?" Usually, I can see visible salt pieces on other brands, not a lot but enough to give it a kick in taste. This product seems aimed at being a healthier low-salt version. It's salty but not as much as I would like. Lastly, I ate two packs the first time because I was feeling unfulfilled by one pack. I wish they made bigger versions.— MAUI ONION FLAVOR —I also tried the Maui Onion flavor and this one is pretty good. There is a very subtle hint of Maui Onion without being overwhelming. Again, texture is relatively flat, and the portions could be about 25% more so I don't eat two packs at a time.— OTHER SNACKS —I'll stick with my crispy and salty Annie Chun's Roasted Seaweed Snacks, Sesame, 0.35 Ounce (Pack of 12) , and if you really want to try something new: A-Sha Seaweed Snacks Spicy - Individual Size with Puffed Rice, Toasted Almonds, Roasted Sesame Seeds (this one is really spicy, but there is a plain version too).— SUMMARY —For those that like seaweed snacks, but want a plainer, less salty version, this Wickedly Prime snack might be for you.

Was a 5 star all the way until the last batch...
I would have given this product 5 stars up until the last batch I received. I love the flavor but this last batch seems like it was made differently than before. The seaweed was thicker and less crispy in this batch. If I find that I received part of a poor batch I will consider putting it back up to 5 stars.Edit on 1-19-19: I think I'm going to leave this as a 4 star because of lack of consistency. I've gotten another pack of 24 of this since product my original review and the quality is much better than the last batch. The seaweed is thin and crispy like I would expect. There is just too much variability from package to package though. Some packages have a great amount of seasoning, some have only a hint of seasoning, while I got one package that had virtually no seasoning. I also did get one package that more closely resembled the last pack of 24 I got where the seaweed was thicker and less crispy.TL;DR. Overall when the quality of this is good and it is seasoned well, this seaweed snack is 5 stars all the way. The lack of consistency in that quality and seasoning is why this is marked down to 4 stars.

Love them!
This is the best wasabi seaweed I’ve tried so far and I’ve tried at least 10 different brands. The seasoning is perfect and the wasabi spice is right on. It’s flavorful without being too overwhelming. My only complaint is with is the inconsistency of them. My kids and I go through a 24 pack in a week so I have been buying them often. Most of the time they’re great but every once in a while we get a batch that doesn’t taste the same. I’m not sure if they’ve changed their recipe and maybe we’re getting older ones but sometimes we get some that have almost no seasoning/flavor on them and the taste is just not there. I’m hoping it’s something that they’re fixing because like I said this is our favorite brand.

Pretty yummy
I've only had the kal-bi flavor, and it's pretty good, messy, but tasty. If you haven't had kal-bi before, it's basically Korean teriyaki, veryyy slightly spicy. If you haven't had seaweed before or just used to it on sushi or musubi, it's like thin flaky paper. Korean seaweed is seasoned with oil before roasting, whereas nori (Japanese seaweed) doesn't use oil, so if you're only used to the Japanese stuff, there ya go. Sometimes during shipment or different climates (I think), the oil separates and can fill the bottom of the packet a bit so grosses some people out, but it's not greasy when you eat it (or at least it shouldn't be). Nutritional value never seems to include sugar in seasoned seaweed (I think somehow they're able to math it out so they don't have to list the sugar content), but be aware it does contain sugar in case you're a diabetic or something. It isn't as filling as corn or potato chips (obviously), but it satisfies a snack craving for most people and less calories/carbs so healthier option as well. Only complaint is that it's so expensive, but all seaweed products are usually pretty pricy.

Great snacks, excessive packaging
First, I love these seaweed snacks. They are crisp, flavorful, and low calorie. I tend to eat 2 or 3 packs at a time (each is 20 calories) and this is where I have an issue with the packaging. I pack 3 of these for lunch at work and they take up a lot of room in my lunch box. I started unwrapping them three at a time at home, combining the snacks into a reusable sturdy container so they don't get crushed, and taking that to work in my lunch box. The foil wrap is not recyclable. There is a recyclable plastic tray in each small package and, well that is recyclable, it is still a lot of extra packaging that I have to dispose of. There must be a simpler, more sustainable way to package and transport these snacks.

Inconsistent production, but at it's best, this was the best
I bought dozens of these. I've bought dozens of other brands and flavors of nori snacks. Each month when these arrived, it was a bit of a gamble. Occasionally they'd seem like they didn't get sealed and were flaccid. Most of the time they were about as good as all the better brands. And maybe one in eight were just simply amazing -- full-bodied and crunchy; like a seaweed pork-rind.I hope they come back.
