sturdy and comfortable
These Days forearm crutches are strong and comfortable. They're sturdy and quiet with no rattles, and are more comfortable and with better control than underarm crutches. They are well worth buying. I particularly like the turning arm cuffs - it's very convenient to be able to lift an arm to turn off a wall light switch and have them stay on your arm. Also, I like that the spring-loaded buttons have adjustment holes on both sides of the shaft - if the button support ever starts to feel wobbly I can thread a screw with a wingnut in the holes to prevent collapse under weight. Very nice! I'm only temporarily disabled but I'd buy these again.I do have a separate set of underarm crutches I use for wearing bulky clothing, like heavy sweaters and coats if I have trouble sliding though the forearm crutches cuffs, but that's not often.

Unbelievably lightweight yet very strong !
These crutches are extremely good and sturdy. I was shocked wiyh disbelief as to how lightweight they are and i was very apprehensive if they will last. Indeed they did.... and did SO well !!! I ordered two pairs, since my crutches break so often (I use them on a daily basis due to lower extremity disability). I weigh about 140lbs and they can hold my weight well. I like that they have plastic cuffs so they don't stick to my skin (unlike the Drive brand crutches). The handle has a non-slip texture so grips well. It still hasn't started making rattling noise yet, which most crutches do after few months of use. However, I will put a caveat here that I don't put ALL my bodyweight on them - my feet also bears partial weight, so these crutches are strong enough for me. If you need something more heavy duty that can tolerate more weight, go with Drive brand Bariatric crutches.

Light weight and very sturdy
I bought these for a family member that has MS. He couldn’t say enough great things about the crutches. Says they are the best set he’s had since he was diagnosed 15 years ago!

Ideal as a cane
These crutches was exactly what my elderly dad needed to help with his balance. He refused to use a cane because he’d drop it but this stays on his arm and keeps him safe from falling!

solid and strong
Durable, tough tips. I am 6 feet three inches tall. That looks to be about the limit. I am using these every day to get around and they show minimal wear so far. replacement tips are easily available.

Broke DURING use causing a fall.
Used without issue for couple months. User is 215 pounds and has been using forearm crutches for over 5 years. During use, one crutch just bent to a 30 degree angle, causing him to fall. Cheap price for cheap and dangerous equipment.

6 feet tall and Adult size is at the upper adjustment limit
I am healing from a grade 3 MCL tear, and wanted to get away from the standard under-the-arm crutches. I'm a 6' tall 195 pound dude, and the Adult size is at the max limit for height, but works fine for me. At the last hole in the height adjustment, the handle is perfectly at my wrist when standing fully erect, which is the recommended fitting method. The handle to cuff length is perfect for my forearm length, which is good, since it's non-adjustable. The cuff is almost tight on my bare forearms, and I don't have huge forearms. If I were to use these outside in the winter when wearing a coat, I might have some issues. Oh, and the adjustable inner piece fits tightly in the outer bit, so there is no noticeable rattle or noise coming from them when using.
