Shine: Being His Light in Darkness Paperback – February 3, 2022

Fantastic book! Jesus said the Church is the light of the world. But how do we do that? Worked through this one with my ministry team.

Incredible study full of scripture and encouragement. Rebecca leads us to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and reflect his love to the world. After going through this study myself, I will be using it as part of my homeschool curriculum this year.

This is a MUST read! I can’t tell you how much this book has blessed me. I did the women’s Bible study with my church in 2022 and now I’m reading it again today in March of 2025. You can also follow her weekly teachings online on YouTube. This book will bless you and encourage you. God truly used her to help explain so many things in great detail. It’s also explained in a very realistic way so that you can comprehend and learn to use these details in your own life. I’ve learned so much and I’m so thankful our church did this study. I can’t say enough really… be blessed!

Sadly the world is growing more and more discouraged, blind, and dark. But that is how Jesus will shine all the brighter! This biblical study gives scriptural insight, wisdom, and most importantly, hope - for such a time as this. Never has it been more important that we as the remnant rise to the occasion to be bright lights pointing the hurting, the lost, and the captive towards the redeeming love of God. Rebecca Knolley has not only listened and obeyed God’s calling in writing this study, she has given God all the glory. As a true light should. Rebecca's "Shine" study is a timely, inspiring alternative to "doom-scrolling" in these challenging times. Joyfully celebrating the Light of Jesus Christ, each lesson explores generous portions of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation. I found my faith reenergized by Rebecca's invitation to dive into God's Word and ponder His goodness. I was also challenged to consider how I can be more intentional about sharing His truth with others in my daily life. "Shine" reminded me that the world's darkness is no match for Christ's saving light, and I have the privilege of reflecting HIs love in a world that now more than ever, needs His hope. Highly recommend!!

I purchased and studied this book through our local church study group. It is revealing, instructional and inspirational. I appreciated the abundance of scripture references for each section. Rebecca Nolley has written and organized the book in such a way that it is understandable and relatable for life in the day-to-day. Completing the readings, questions and class discussion revealed God's light and the joy of who He is in a new way for me as well as motivating me to be His light more consistently. It's a study that I will revisit and reflect upon from time to time.

Such a great study that I fully enjoyed every word of it! I pray the Lord will help me to put this into practice!

This was such a down to earth where we live Bible Study. There are 5 days lessons each week that are so meaningful you don’t want to just do one day you want to do the entire week in one sitting. I have done many Bible studies and this is seriously one of the best. It’s also not just for women — guys and teens would learn so much from this study as well. I HIGHLY recommend it
