I started taking milk thistle when someone close to me was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver. As I researched this horrible disease, I came to realize that besides your heart your liver is the most important organ in your body in my opinion. Everybody on planet earth should take milk thistle I think. Pros- *Helps to bring liver numbers down medically. *Good product for the money. Cons- *Would like to see Now brand add phytosome to their milk thistle. It helps in absorption of the milk thistle, which is hard for the body to absorb, especially if someone has a compromised liver. Overall- *Now brand is a good go to brand that has been around a long time. Yes I would recommend this product to everyone.

I used to be a heavy wine imbiber. While I gave up the every night habit awhile ago as I started feeling "funny" in the liver area (which makes sense because I've used alcohol for 34 years and didn't eat that great ) , I STILL wanted the option to have a few drinks on my weekend and eat crappy if I chose. in the past, I I used whatever milk thistle product was around but decided to try THIS brand which also contains tumeric. I take it every day, 3x a day, alcohol or not, crappy food or not, and at 62 I feel great! I also exercise and TRY to eat healthy most days. I know there are other brands out there that are "good" but this one is the best I've used so far. Highly recommend!!
