So far so good. Was hesitant since there weren't any reviews yet, but decided to take a chance and it works as advertised. Tested it on my PS5 and Xbox Series X and all the settings show that everything works. Auto switch works perfectly, tested it various ways and I have both consoles set to switch to their designated inputs when I'm using an app on my TV. The device is small and you can either power it through HDMI or use the provided micro USB (which I had to use to fit how I wanted to use it). Will be testing various games soon, and I'll update again if anything changes.Update: Figured out why autoswitch wouldn't work after turning my TV on and off, it was because I had the USB cable plugged directly into the TV. Now that it's plugged into an outlet, problem solved. For consoles, have CEC/Device Link options turned on for both with the options to turn connected devices off when TV turns off unchecked/disabled.

I've used this with an Xbox Series S and a custom gaming PC with a RTX 3080 Ti installed. It's pretty good, but it could better. Compared to other HDMI 2.1 switches I've used, this has trouble keeping a consistent signal sometimes, and worst case scenario, can blank screen the source at the worst possible time(like mid battle on Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, for example). The auto switching is nice, but that's largely handled by HDMI CEC, not the switch itself. Also, I'd like to see 3 input or 4 input version of this, as that would allow for all of the newest gaming devices to be connected at once. I recommend this, but with some caution. The signal dropouts badly need to be fixed.

This product works exactly as advertised. I had purchased a switcher beforehand that I thought would automatically switch but it needed a button pressed. This one actually does it by itself. I use it for gaming on an xbox series x and for computer use with my mac. After i turn one off I can turn on the other and the hdmi automatically switches. I have it connected to a 4k 60hertz monitor and it has zero lag. Xbox gameplay is exactly the same quality and refresh rate as if it would be plugged in to the back of my monitor. Perfect for monitors with only two hdmi ports or for people who don't want to press buttons to switch. Also it works with the monitors auto-wakeup when hdmi is detected.

Maybe this is unfair? I don't think it should be.Devices: 1080p Panasonic Plasma TV (awesome picture quality); AppleTV 4k 2021; Chromecast 3rd gen 1080p. I could have added other devices, but trying to get the minimum to work...Expecting to upgrade to a 4k TV in the next 24 mnths, so looking for a HDMI switch that will continue to work. Auto switching between Chromecast and the AppleTV worked correctly 1 or 2 times, then failed. Trying to get the inputs to switch manually also failed to work consitently. At one point the switch appears to have gotten put into matrix mode, as it would flash the screen in between the inputs, but only half the screen was viewable, screen half split horizontally. There appears to be a sync issue, vertical sync was not stable, sometimes this resolved itself, sometimes it did not.I pulled out an old porta HDMI switcher (circa 2010-ish) from my junk drawer and it works as is... I would expect fall-back to legacy operation to just work unless clearly stated in the description/features.I will expect that the new 4k TV I buy will have enough inputs so I don't need a cheap switcher going forward.What did I do to try and resolve this?- tried operating the switch with and without an external power supply, no change noticed- tried shutting everything down and restarting each device- tried individually tested HDMI cables with the AppleTV, as it appears to be the sensitive party, so issues follow any particular cable

Able to connect an XBox Series X and PS5 at the same time and the video signal is solid for each at 4K/120/HDR (PS5) and 4K/120/VRR/HDR (XBox).The auto-switching works sometimes, but is not completely reliable (sometimes when powering on a device, even if the other device is off, it will not switch the powered-on input). So, you should treat the auto-switch as a nice bonus, but if it is critical for you, then I can't recommend.Update: I am now using a dedicated power adapter (instead of USB port on the Xbox) to power the switch and I have set my Xbox to go to the lowest power mode when it is turned off. WIth these changes, I find auto-switching is close to 100% reliable.

I connected this to a docking station that is connected to my Surface 4 computer as well as to my Intel Macbook pro and it worked with no issues.I used 3 random HDMI cables so the switcher wasn't particularly picky, it just worked and it's tiny. It fit with no issues inside my small cable management box, loaded with other cables.Note that it doesn't come with a power brick, this wasn't an issue for me but something you should take into consideration if you are looking to et this up and running quickly. Other items you will need are 3 HDMI cables.

Took a while to get auto switching working between always-on security cam feed and xbox. Found only way to make things work was to do a 'full shutdown' via the Xbox settings menu. Even with xbox shutdown options set to the eco / lowest power setting (as another review suggested), shutting down 'normally' didn't work. Don't necessarily consider this a fault of the product, as the cam system isn't on the list if supported items, but there may be competing products that would work as I'd hope.

This is a decent product. Picture quality is okay but I wanted a heavy option to stay on the desk but this adapter kept lifting up which was annoying. I would look for something studier if this will bother you. Overall it is a decent product.
