Beginning musicians need lots of books & videos to shorten the learning curve & practice time for any instrument - This book is a winner for the harmonica - well worth adding to your collection - you'll be playing a simple song after an hour of practicing from this book. Use the CD to get a feel of the rhythm and learn the basics. A few sips (not too much!) of wine (or any beverage) to relax a bit and keep your lips moist and you will be surprised at the music you can make in such a short time with this book. If you have grandchildren (I have two) they make a great audience for a short time. The older we are, the longer it takes to learn music, this book helps to get you playing faster.

For new harmonica players I recommed this books. it is easy to read, understand and follow the lessons. all the visual material included in the book is good for new musicians using this instrument. The book is new and received in excellent conditions.

Good book

I like this book, just starting to play the harmonica to help my COPD, it goes deeper than I thought about reading music and learning the beats but it is really a good thing if you are going to really try to play and learn. I seen some reviews that the CD was a little boring but I find it so useful to help you learn the beat and timing. Has a lot of songs in it also.

I would say great for beginners. But the Criminals in Seattle stole the book and my Harmonica set. Seattle Criminals stole van stole everything

hitting those single notes I find is pretty difficult, and the instructions are kind of lacking in how best to achieve that, but maybe that's just me and I need more practice. I wish there were more songs to play that start off being easy in using 3 note chords because getting the pacing and switching to 3 note to 2 and 1 note changes how the song sounds and seems difficult to do all at once. There's a music CD with it but I haven't tried that yet.

Cheap and very easy to read and understand. Presented in a way that almost anyone could figure this out and before you know it you will be able to move on to any song you wish. It teaches you how to read the sheet music so after completing this book you can go online and find plenty of sheet music for your harmonica. Great for beginners or even those looking to refresh and relearn.

This harmonica music book is really great, I would recommend this to all who are learning to play the harmonica. Simple and easy to follow directions, you can't go wrong. This book will start you off in playing your favorite tunes on the harmonica for years to come.

Dieses Anfängerheft hat 39 Seiten und eine Demo/Playalong-CD. Die Funktion der Richtermundharmonika wird erläutert. Weiter lernt man Noten und die Blaskanäle mit ihren Tönen. Im Heft sind jeweils unter den Noten die Nummern der zu benutzenden Löcher vermerkt. Man lernt also mit der Lage der Töne auf dem Instrument auch gleichzeitig die dazu passende Note kennen. Weiter wird das Spiel von Akkorden vermittelt. Zum Üben von Melodien dienen US-Volkslieder. Wer über diesen Einstieg hinaus Blues-Harp-Techniken und das Spiel in Tonarten, die Wahl der passenden Instrumente nach der Harmonielehre usw. lernen möchte, der sollte Blues Harping der Firma Hohner als Einstieg wählen. Diese Hefte plus CD gibt es wahlweise auch in deutsch und sie gehen wesentlich tiefer in die Theorie. Was allerdings dann manchem Anfänger schon zuviel Theorie sein mag. Aber mit diesem Heft hier kommt man über das Spiel von Wander- und Volksliedern in C-Dur nicht hinaus.

Consigliato solo per chi è proprio alle prime armi con la musica , non solo con l'armonica. Per chi sa leggere uno spartito e si è già informato un minimo online sullo strumento in questione , è una perdita di tempo.
